सहमाचल प्रदेश कें द्रीय सिश्वसिद्यालय के जमू्म कश्मीर अध्ययन कें द्र में दो िर्षीय एम.ए.(जमू्म-कश्मीर

अध्ययन) में बाह्य अभ्यसथियोिं (External Candidates) की िसिस्ट्र ेशन हेतु आिेदन आमिंसित सकये िाते

हैं । अतः इचु्छक अभ्यथी सिंलग्न आिेदन पि भिकि 31 अकू्टबर, 2020 तक हनदेशक, जमू्म कश्मीर

अध्ययन कें द्र, हिमाचल प्रदेश कें द्रीय हिश्वहि्ालय, सप्त हसनु्ध पररसर देिरा, हजला कााँगड़ा

(हि.प्र.)-177101 के कायािलय में व् यक्तिगगत ूपप से िमा कििा सकते हैं अथिा पिंिीकृत डाक द्वािा भेि

सकते हैं ।

कृपया आिेदन के साथ सनधािरित शुल् क हित् त अहधकारी, हिमाचल प्रदेश कें द्रीय हिश्वहि्ालय के नाम

से बैंक डर ाफ्ट को भी अिश्य भेिें ।

MA (Jammu and Kashmir Studies)

The information regarding registration of the Students in M.A (Jammu & Kashmir

Studies) is as under: -

MA (Jammu & Kashmir Studies)

1. Programme Duration :

a. Minimum : Two years

b. Maximum : Five years

2. Minimum Eligibility Conditions:

a. Bachelor/UG Degree of a recognized University or an equivalent examination in

any discipline.

b. Those who have successfully completed the P.G. Diploma in Jammu & Kashmir

Studies are eligible for registration for Second year as lateral entry.

3. Minimum qualifying Marks:

a. A student admitted to the programme shall be promoted to 2nd year, if

he/she passed all the papers in first year.

b. Re-appear shall be granted to a student who gets above 20% in the maximum

of two papers only, otherwise he/she will be treated as fail. The examination

of the re-appear papers shall be held at the end of every year along with

Annual Examination. If the result of the candidate is re-appear he can also

seek registration for 2nd year. But if he fails in re-appear papers, his result of

2nd year examination will not be declared.

c. Failed candidate can also appear in the examination in next year after paying

examination fee of Rs. 500/-

4. Criteria for Selection of Studies for Registration/Admission

a. All the external applicants seeking admission to this Programme of Study

shall register throughout the year on prescribed proforma available on the

University website (www.cuhimachal.ac.in) / enclosed herewith.

b. The applications received before or on 31st October 2020 shall be

considered for registration to the course every year. The applications

received after 31st October 2020 shall be considered for registration to the

course in next year.

c. Those who have successfully completed the P.G. Diploma in Jammu &

Kashmir Studies are eligible for admission in the 2nd year as lateral entry.

The University students who have already registered in any course shall be

eligible after completing the one degree/diploma for lateral entry.

5. Credit Requirements

a. The student has to choose five courses in a year out of eight courses.

b. The admitted candidates compulsorily attend the Three-Days Orientation

Programme before the date of commencement of examinations.

c. The details of courses along with credits are sent through post to the

registered students.

6. Fees and other charges:

a. A student shall be deemed to have been admitted to a Programme of Studies

only after he/she pays the fees as under:

Registration fee - Rs. 4000/- per year

Examination fee - Rs. 500/-

b. Registration shall be renewed every year.

c. The fees shall be submitted at the time of registration with Registration form

along with Demand draft in the name of Finance Officer, Central University

of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala.

7. Examination Centre:

The Centre of Examination will be at Central University of Himachal Pradesh

Dehra.

The annual examination of the programme may be conducted in the month of

June every year.
