Rockport Walking Test

Objetivo: Determinar el VO2 máximo en sujetos de
baja condición física
Desarrollo: Consiste en recorrer andando según el
ritmo personal del ejecutante, la distancia de una
milla (1609,3 metros), controlando la frecuencia
cardiaca al terminar el recorrido, así como el
tiempo empleado

Donde
PC: Peso corporal (kg); S: Sexo (0: mujeres, 1: hombres);
T: Tiempo en minutos (valores decimales);
FC: Frecuencia cardiaca (ppm).

Máx = 132,6 – (0,17 x PC) – (0,39 x Edad) +
(6,31 x S) – (3,27 x T) – (0,156 x FC)
Material e instalaciones: Cronómetro. Pista de atletismo o
terreno llano sin muchas curvas perfectamente delimitado
La determinación del VO2 máximo se realiza a partir de la
siguiente ecuación:
Test de Carrera 1 Milla
Objetivo: Determinar el VO2
máximo.
Desarrollo: Consiste en recorrer la distancia de 1
milla en el menor tiempo posible. A los 10
segundos de finalizar se toman las pulsaciones y
con este dato y el tiempo empleado en realizar la
prueba.
