JUSTIFICACIN:El rea tiene como propsito desarrollar las capacidades comunicativas en un proceso de comunicacin intercultural, aspecto fundamental en un mundo
globalizado. El aprendizaje de un idioma extranjero permite ser receptivo a los aportes culturales innovadores, los cuales se podrn recibir de manera ms adecuada cuantoms se hayan desarrollado las capacidades comunicativas en el idioma materno. Su aprendizaje es importante al momento de plantear la convivencia e interaccin deculturas distintas considerando adems una serie de elementos como tica y cultura de paz o la promocin de la interculturalidad, la conciencia ambiental y la calidad devida. Todos estos elementos corresponden a una visin ms amplia de las necesidades humanas que debe rebasar diferencias para encontrarse en una posicin de igualdad
con el fin de lograr metas comunes.El aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera/originaria se centra en un enfoque comunicativo que se orienta al desarrollo de las capacidades comunicativas, sustentadasen la atencin a las necesidades, intereses y motivaciones de los estudiantes respecto a aquello que quieren comunicar, considerando al texto como la unidad bsica dela comunicacin. Ello genera el reto de realizar la reflexin gramatical a partir del uso de textos autnticos y en un contexto determinado. Es as que el rea plantea eldesarrollo de dos grandes procesos que tienen correspondencia con las capacidades de rea: la Comprensin de textos y Produccin de textos.
To empower young learners in the 21stcentury, English language learners and teachers must understand the global importance of English, as well as what it means to be aglobal citizen. It is widely recognized that English is the worlds lingua franca. English is used internationally as the language of science, technology, business, trade, tourism,diplomacy, and global problem solving. Children grow up communicating in English with people from countries all around the world. If they grow up to become globalcitizens, able to interact with people from diverse cultures, they must be exposed to real world content that helps them understand other people and cultures.
Students learn through a process of constructing meaning. They are active learners who try to make a sense of the world through interaction in personal, social andacademic contexts. As they do, they gradually modify their understanding of how both the world and language work
