The opening hours are as follows: Civic Centres and ‘Beti Jai’ Basque pelota courts: from 10:00 to 21:00 hours. The Local Tourist Office: • July, August and September: Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:30. • The rest of the year: • Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:30 • Sundays and Bank Holidays, from 11:00 to 13:30 The Boulevard Shopping Centre: Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 21:00. The Urban Paths network was created to endow the city with some routes and paths in which pedestrians and bicycle traffic have priority. These urban paths connect the city centre and the suburbs with the rural and natural area of the town, not just improving the urban connections, but creating a kind of internal green framework that facilitates communication between the city and its natural areas. Thanks to these routes, we can get to know many interesting areas in our city, from a natural, cultural or monumental point of view. Through these routes, from the city centre we can get to know both the history of the city (reflected in the urban framework) and its social and economical development, from its foundation until the present day. The urban routes are complemented by a number of walks through the Green Ring, a set of proposed itineraries aimed at exploring the nature and landscape of the natural environment of Vitoria-Gasteiz. BIKE LOAN SERVICE To make it easier for residents and visitors to discover these routes, the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council has set up a bike loan service, which has 175 bikes distributed between 11 strategic points of the city. How it works Everybody using this service must register at a lending point by giving their personal details and signing a document accepting the service regulations. Users under 18 must be registered by a parent or guardian, who will assume responsibility for their use of the service. Once this formality has been completed, whenever you wish to make use of the service any time after that, all you need to do is produce your identity card, driving licence or passport and you will be provided with a bicycle that you will be required to return to any servicio, presentando únicamente su DNI, carnet de conducir o pasaporte, se le facilitará una bicicleta que deberá devolver en cualquiera de los puntos de préstamo en un plazo de 4 horas. La red de Sendas Urbanas está ideada para dotar a la ciudad de unas vías o sendas en las que las formas de movilidad prioritarias sean la peatonal y la ciclista. Estas sendas urbanas conectan el centro de la ciudad y los barrios con el área rural y natural del municipio, no sólo mejorando la conexión urbana, sino constituyendo una suerte de entramado verde interior que facilita la comunicación ciudad-naturaleza. Los itinerarios diseñados permiten conocer diferentes espacios de interés de nuestra ciudad, tanto desde el punto de vista natural como cultural o monumental. Desde el Centro de la ciudad, a través de estos recorridos y reflejada en la trama urbana, puede conocerse su historia y su desarrollo social y económico desde su fundación hasta los tiempos actuales. Las rutas urbanas se completan con los paseos por el Anillo Verde, una serie de propuestas de itinerarios para conocer los valores naturales y paisajísticos del entorno natural de Vitoria-Gasteiz. SERVICIO DE PRÉSTAMO DE BICICLETAS Para facilitar el descubrimiento de estas rutas tanto por parte de los residentes como de los visitantes, desde el Ayuntamiento de Vitoria-Gasteiz, se ha puesto en marcha un servicio de préstamo de bicicletas. El servicio dispone de 175 bicicletas distribuidas en 11 puntos localizados estratégicamente en la ciudad. Funcionamiento Cualquier persona que quiera acceder a este servicio deberá previamente darse de alta en los puntos de préstamo, facilitando sus datos personales y firmando un documento en el que se compromete a aceptar la normativa del servicio. Los usuarios menores de 18 años serán inscritos por su padre, madre o tutor legal, el cual se hará responsable del uso del servicio. Hiribideen sarearen helburuabatik bat oinezkoentzako etatxirrindularientzako izango direnbideak sortzea da. Hiribide horiekudalerriko landa eremu naturalarekinlotzen dituzte hiriaren erdigunea etaauzoak; eta, horien bidez, hiriko barneloturak hobetzeaz gain, hiriaren etanaturaren arteko komunikazioalaguntzen duen hiri barneko egituraberdea eratzen da.

BIZIKLETAK MAILEGATZEKO ZERBITZUA
Bertakoei eta bisitariei ibilbideak ezagutzen laguntzeko, Gasteizko udalak bizikletakalokatzeko zerbitzua jarri du abian. Zerbitzuak 175 bizikleta ditu, hirian zehar estrategikokikokatutako 11 gunetan.

of the pick-up points within four hours. Users under 18 must be accompanied by an adultguardian, who will assume responsibility for their use of the service.
The user must commit him/herself to using the bicycle properly, obeying the trafficregulations established for these vehicles and taking care of the hired material, avoidingany harm, loss or theft until it is returned.
The city council accepts no responsibility for any injuries sustained or caused by the userwhile using the bicycle. Nor does it accept responsibility for any damages resulting fromimproper use, or damage caused to third parties.

Opening dates and hours
This service is provided from April to November. The opening hours are as follows:
Civic Centres and ‘Beti Jai’ Basque pelota courts: from 10:00 to 21:00 hours.
The Local Tourist Office:• July, August and September: Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:30.
• The rest of the year:• Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:30• Sundays and Bank Holidays, from 11:00 to 13:30
The Boulevard Shopping Centre: Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 21:00.
The Urban Paths network was created to endow the city with some routes and paths inwhich pedestrians and bicycle traffic have priority. These urban paths connect the citycentre and the suburbs with the rural and natural area of the town, not just improving theurban connections, but creating a kind of internal green framework that facilitatescommunication between the city and its natural areas.
Thanks to these routes, we can get to know many interesting areas in our city, from anatural, cultural or monumental point of view.
Through these routes, from the city centre we can get to know both the history of the city(reflected in the urban framework) and its social and economical development, from itsfoundation until the present day.
The urban routes are complemented by a number of walks through the Green Ring, a setof proposed itineraries aimed at exploring the nature and landscape of the naturalenvironment of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
BIKE LOAN SERVICE
To make it easier for residents and visitors to discover these routes, the Vitoria-GasteizCity Council has set up a bike loan service, which has 175 bikes distributed between 11strategic points of the city.
How it works
Everybody using this service must register at a lending point by giving their personal detailsand signing a document accepting the service regulations. Users under 18 must beregistered by a parent or guardian, who will assume responsibility for their use of theservice.
Once this formality has been completed, whenever you wish to make use of the serviceany time after that, all you need to do is produce your identity card, driving licence orpassport and you will be provided with a bicycle that you will be required to return to any
servicio, presentando únicamente su DNI, carnet de conduciro pasaporte, se le facilitará una bicicleta que deberá devolveren cualquiera de los puntos de préstamo en un plazo de4 horas. Los usuarios menores de 18 años deberán iracompañados de un tutor adulto que se hará responsabledel uso de la bicicleta.
El usuario de la bicicleta se compromete a hacer buenuso de la misma respetando las normas de tráficoestablecidas para estos vehículos, así como a cuidar del material alquilado y protegerlode cualquier daño, pérdida o sustracción hasta el momento de su devolución.
El Ayuntamiento está eximido de los daños que el usuario pueda sufrir o producir mientrashace uso de la bicicleta y no se responsabilizará de los daños o perjuicios producidos porun mal uso de la misma, ni de los causados a terceros por el usuario de ésta.

La red de Sendas Urbanas está ideada para dotar a la ciudad de unas vías o sendas enlas que las formas de movilidad prioritarias sean la peatonal y la ciclista. Estas sendasurbanas conectan el centro de la ciudad y los barrios con el área rural y natural delmunicipio, no sólo mejorando la conexión urbana, sino constituyendo una suerte deentramado verde interior que facilita la comunicación ciudad-naturaleza.
Los itinerarios diseñados permiten conocer diferentes espacios de interés de nuestraciudad, tanto desde el punto de vista natural como cultural o monumental.
Desde el Centro de la ciudad, a través de estos recorridos y reflejada en la trama urbana,puede conocerse su historia y su desarrollo social y económico desde su fundación hastalos tiempos actuales.
Las rutas urbanas se completan con los paseos por el Anillo Verde, una serie de propuestasde itinerarios para conocer los valores naturales y paisajísticos del entorno natural deVitoria-Gasteiz.
SERVICIO DE PRÉSTAMO DE BICICLETAS
Para facilitar el descubrimiento de estas rutas tanto por parte de los residentes como delos visitantes, desde el Ayuntamiento de Vitoria-Gasteiz, se ha puesto en marcha un serviciode préstamo de bicicletas. El servicio dispone de 175 bicicletas distribuidas en 11 puntoslocalizados estratégicamente en la ciudad.
Funcionamiento
Cualquier persona que quiera acceder a este servicio deberá previamente darse de altaen los puntos de préstamo, facilitando sus datos personales y firmando un documentoen el que se compromete a aceptar la normativa del servicio. Los usuarios menores de18 años serán inscritos por su padre, madre o tutor legal, el cual se hará responsabledel uso del servicio.

Advice for the service user
• Respect the Highway Code.
• Take the most convenient, appropriate and safe route (Urban Paths, cycle lanes, preferential lanes and streets with little traffic)
• Cycle on the right and in the middle of the path.
• Overtake from the left, leaving a distance of 1.5 m from the overtaken vehicle. Carry
out the manoeuvre progressively and confidently, signalling your intentions and making sure that everybody has noticed.
• Draw attention to yourself by using the bell, and make sure you signal your manoeuvres clearly in advance.
• Bear in mind that pedestrians have priority over bicycles.
