Sustainable Information Point “Psi”The Transit Stop for the 21st CenturyThe PSi is a new concept for transit stops that combine state of the art technology, sustainability and design to offer the user real time information on transit arrival times and messages. Thanks to advances in our solar & wind powered technology systems we implement large scale projects while keeping installation & maintenance costs down.

Direct Communication with the UsersThe PSi allows city authorities and transport operators to inform the public of arrival times and display announcements, messages & information all in real time.

Adaptable & AutonomousThe PSi is automatic and self sufficient. Since they are 100% powered by sustainable energy, and receives the information wirelessly, they do not depend on any external wiring for installation and operation. The PSi is ready to go live the moment it is assembled.

Sustainable Quality of LivingThe PSi represents a massive leap forward in the quality of public transportation & user experience. It generates confidence, encourages the use of the bus, train or subway and helps reduce traffic in car crowded cities…all without any negative impact on the environment!

Server SoftwareOur telecommunication software controls the flow of information. It receives status & location signals from the client’s network,

organizes and distributes it to the appropriate transit stop.

• Seamless SIRI software integration.• Simultaneous management of multiple databases.• Web service based data transmission.

Back-Office System

• Transit stop management & monitoring data center.

• Real-time automatic monitoring. The system instantly notifies if a transit stop or terminal goes outside of its established parameters of operation such as:

- Communication systems error- Screen error (arrival time or announcement)- Low network coverage- Low battery voltage- PV panel charging difficulties- Temperature problems

esWhat are some of the advantages?

• Useful information. Offers Real-Time dynamic information about the transport network, improving user experience and satisfaction.

• Easy Installation. Since they are not connected to the power network, the installation is pretty simple, which translates into big savings when installing or changing the location of the PSi.

• No electricity bills. The solar panels produce all the power needed by the PSi’s, making them self sufficient. • Autonomy. The system is designed to work for as much as 10 days without sunlight.

• Control. The custom software system is an excellent tool for monitoring the operation of the transport network.

• Reliability. The simplicity of the system, the build quality of the PSi’s and their capability to work autonomously make it extremely fail resistant.

• Economically. The design of the PSi translates into big savings on installation, maintenance & operation costs. Additionally, the capability for displaying dynamic information allows for the implementation of focused advertising as an added revenue stream for the city.

• Environmentally. The use of environmentally friendly materials and processes, combined with the self sufficient energy system of the PSi’s, greatly reduce the impact on the environment.

• Socially. The system is designed for easy upgrading, which means it has the flexibility to adapt to the individual needs of each stop.
