THE SOLAR SYSTEM PROJECT SUBJECT ART AND CRAFTS Justification In order to foster the knowledge previously acquired in science, we are going to recap the vocabulary and contents of the lesson, making a poster about the solar system and creating a new one from the characteristics given in the text book. Contents The earth and the moon, the planets, the sun, stars, constellations, galaxies, satellites, comets. Didactic objectives To know the eight planets of the solar system and their characteristics. To learn the different characteristics of each one. To show interest about the contents of the lesson. To collaborate with each others to build a solar system poster. Learning objectives To Know the vocabulary related with the lesson. To create a mobile of a new system of planets in groups, applying the knowledge learnt previously. Competencies Learning to learn: Communication in the foreign language: Entrepreneurship Activities Collaborative solar system poster: The class is divided in groups, each day, one group is going to work on the poster while the others groups are working in the mobile planets project. The poster is going to build in based on the solar system organization, with different textures for each planet while ones of the group are making it for a time the others components are going to fill the report of the planet, star….given. Collaborative solar system poster:

The class is divided in groups, each day, one group is going to work on the poster while the others groups are working in the mobile planets project. The poster is going to build in based on the solar system organization, with different textures for each planet while ones of the group are making it for a time the others components are going to fill the report of the planet, star….given. Then they are going to change in this sense all of components of the group could participate in both things.

System planets Mobile The class is divided in groups, teacher hands out the instructions to be followed by the students few days before, to create a new system of planets, so students can collect the necessary materials and information to carry out the activity. With this in mind, the groups have to organize their own work such as who will find the different information, who can bring different materials, who is going to make the report of the project, how they are going to present to the rest of the class. In other words they have to manipulate the information given and obtained by themselves to make the project.Collaborative solar system poster: Continuing role.
