TEMA 9: LOS SENTIDOS.

Este material es complementario a la unidad 9 de conocimiento del medio. Está diseñada para completar dicho tema y no es una unidad en sí misma.

Objetivos lingüísticos:

Conocer vocabulario relacionado con los sentidos, repasar vocabulario de las partes del cuerpo/cara.

Enumeración: usar la coma y “and”.

Competencias

específicas:

Conocimiento e interacción con el mundo físico, conozco mi cuerpo.

Competencia en comunicación lingüística.(lectura de textos, vocabulario.)

Aprender a aprender: organizamos la información.

Relación con las demás áreas:

Lengua: Comprensión y expresión oral,

Inglés: Vocabulario,y estructuras.

Plastica: dibujamos y trabajamos los organos delos sentidos (expresión artística).

Temporalización:

De 2 a 3 sesiones dependiendo del grupo de alumnos/as. Se puede trabajar al inicio del tema como introducción o al final de la unidad para completar.

The senses

As you already know, all human beings have at least five senses. These senses are:

1. Sight

2. Sound

3. Smell 5 senses

4. Taste

5. Touch.

But to use our senses we need different parts of our body:

Eyes, ears, nose, tongue and skin.

Now you have to match the different parts of our body with the senses.

1. Eyes Taste

2. Ears Smell

3. Nose Touch

4. Tongue Sound

5. Skin Sight

What can I do …..? Using different parts of our body we can do different things……

Eyes

I can see with my eyes.

Ears

I can hear with my ears.

Nose

I can smell with my nose.

Tongue

I can taste with my tongue.

Hands

I can touch with my hands.

Do you think you have a good sense of smell? This experiment will test how good it is. Each numbered jar contains a different substance that has a strong smell you should recognise.

Instructions

1. Put your blindfold on 2. Take the lid off jar number 1 3. Have a good stiff of the substance inside 4. Put the lid back on 5. Write what you think it is in the ‘My Guess’ column 6. Repeat for the other jars
