Men’s Discernment Dinner

A Men's Discernment Dinner will be held at Saint John Paul II Seminary on Sunday, May 13, from 5:00-8:30 pm. The evening will include Mass, dinner, and a chance to discuss the priesthood with priests, seminarians, and other young men from the Washington DC. area. Participants should be single men, college age and up, who are practicing Catholics. If you know of any men in your parish who would be interested in this event, please have them contact Fr. Quo Vadis Camp The Office of Priest Vocation’s annual Quo Vadis Camp for high school-aged young men will be held at Mount Saint Mary’s Seminary July 15-18. The four-day camp includes daily Mass, prayer, talks, sports, and much more. Bus transportation is available. More information is available, and registration is open at dcpriest.org. Mother’s Day We want to remind everybody that in our Sunday celebrations we will be remembering our Mothers both living and deceased. Please use the special envelopes provided to remember your mothers. A Basket with their names will be placed by the altar during all the masses of the month of May. Also, there will be a special blessing for all mothers present at the liturgies at the end of the Mass. If there are people who know how to lead the rosary, we would like to have the rosary prayed during the month of May 15 minutes before the Mass. Please inform Fr. Steve if you desire to lead the rosary at your Mass.

“MAYO, EL MES DE LA MADRE”

Todos sabemos que cada primer viernes del mes, tenemos Vigilias aquí en nuestra Parroquia Cristo Rey. Comenzamos con el Santo Rosario a las 6:30 pm, luego tenemos La Misa de Sanación a las 7:pm, finalizando a las 10:00pm con cantos, reflexiones, testimonios, etc. Este próximo viernes, 4 de mayo dedicaremos nuestra Vigilia a nuestra Santísima Madre María Santísima y les pedimos que preparemos poemas, reflexiones, cánticos, etc. En su honor. Todo se llevará a cabo después de la Misa. Antes de finalizar, queremos también rendirles homenaje a nuestras madres terrenales por lo que pedimos traer comida para compartir en el Salón Colonial. “LES ESPERAMOS”

Taller en español para Lectores, primavera 2018
