� Instituciones públicas o privadas sin ánimo de lucro, ONGs, etc.

� De los 27 Estados Miembros de la UE, países de la EFTA/EEA (Islandia, Lichtenstein, Noruega) y Croacia (Entities from other countries can only participate as subcontractors or collaborating partners).

� Coordinador - Responsable del proyecto. Rinde cuentas a la Comisión.

� Socio - Responsable de la tarea asignada. Rinde cuentas al coordinador.

� Subcontratado, proveedor de servicios. Las tareas principales del proyecto no se pueden subcontratar.

Aim:

� To select and share good practices to promote patient safety (andrelated aspects in the domain quality of health care)

Method:� Procedures and instruments for selecting good practices and a

network and technical instruments for sharing among MS andstakeholders

Deliverable:

� A set of transferable good practices for patient safety, and a platform and technical instruments for sharing

Aim:� To contribute to implementing and evaluationg a selection of good

practices in participating Member States to promote patient safety

Method:� Selection of good practices� Starting/continuing/reinforcing the process of implementation� Monitoring and learning from the process of implementation and

outcomes

Deliverable:� An implementation process in Member States and an environment

for mutual learning about the implementation process

Aim:

� To collect and share knowledge about quality and safety systemsin place in member States, and to reflect on principles of goodquality healthcare

Method:� Collect information about quality assurance in the Member States

� Sharing and cooperation by national organizations in European networks on quality of health care

Deliverable:� Information about successful quality assurance strategies in order

WP5 – Sustainability of collaboration

Aim:� To support and catalyse sustained collaboration and establish

learning mechanisms among Member States and stakeholders

Method:� Linking national and international organisations in the field of

quality and safety of health care� Creating a sustainable infrastructure and attitude to cooperate in

this field

Deliverable:� A collaborative EU network for collaboration between Member

States and relevant EU stakeholders, by sharing information andcooperation on improvement strategies, which will continue afterthe Joint Action

WP7� The coordination of the evaluation is done within the
