Declaración Rotaria por la Paz Mundial.

Nosotros los rotarios del mundo:

- Estamos comprometidos con la paz y el entendimiento entre las naciones. 1

- Colaboramos en acciones humanitarias asociados con las Naciones Unidas.- Creemos en el Derecho Internacional como instrumento indispensable para lograr la paz.- Servimos a nuestra comunidad para tejer una amplia red de amistad y solidaridad mundial.

Por ello los Rotarios de México invitamos a todos los Rotarios del mundo a firmar esta

D E C L A R A C I ON:

Como ciudadanos del mundo, nos pronunciamos por el “fortalecimiento de las Naciones Unidas” con el fin de que ésta noble organización, que nació en 1945 con el apoyo decidido de Rotary International, pueda alcanzar la efectividad requerida para realizar las siguientes metas.

Primera.- El cumplimiento de la Declaración Universal de Derechos Humanos de la O.N.U. en todos los rincones del planeta para dignificar a todos los seres humanos.

Segunda.- La protección efectiva del Medio Ambiente en general, privilegiando acciones y programas para una atmósfera limpia con agua para todos.

Tercera.- El Desarrollo Sustentable en todos los países y su crecimiento sostenible para reducir la insalubridad, la desnutrición y el analfabetismo de todos los pueblos.

Cuarta.- La cooperación y el compromiso de las naciones para darle vigencia a los principios y valores del Estado de Derecho, como instrumento efectivo de convivencia pacífica para cumplir con el Cuarto Objetivo Rotario.

Atendiendo a nuestro compromiso de servicio humanitario vinculado a ideales universales por la paz mundial, te invitamos compañero Rotario a unirte a esta DECLARACION, firmando al calce.

Rotarian Declaration for World PeaceThe Fourth Object of Rotary:

The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peacethrough a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service

We the Rotarians of the world:

- Are committed to peace and understanding among all nations.- Work together with the United Nations in humanitarian action.- Believe in international law as an indispensable tool to achieve peace.- Serve our community in order to weave a broad network of friendship and world solidarity

Therefore we the Rotarians of the world make this

DECLARATION

As citizens of the world, we proclaim that we stand for ‘’ the strengthening of the United Nations’’ with the objective that this noble organization, which was born in 1945 with the strong support of Rotary International, can achieve the effectiveness required in order to realize the following goals.

First - Fulfillment of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights throughout the world in order to recognize the dignity of all human beings.

Second – Effective protection of environment in general, with priority to actions and programs for clean air and water for all.

Third – Sustainable development in all countries and the growth they need in order to reduce unhealthy conditions, hunger and illiteracy, for all peoples.

Fourth – cooperation and commitment of all nations to put into effect, principles and values of the rule of law as an effective instrument for living in peace and to fulfill the Fourth Object of Rotary.
