PLATIK FUNKIt’s time for a FUNK phenomena! For over two decades Rafael Ximenez and Mikio Gruschinske have each worked their way up the DJ Community and electronic music industry ladder.

This collab track entered the playlists of nearly all major DJs from Tiesto to Steve Angello, thru Laidback Luke, Avicii, David Guetta or even Skrillex, just to name a few. All follow up productions gained peak positions in the international dance charts and also on beatport. Their tour schedule led the boys from Brasil to Korea and from the USA to the UK. Festivals around the world have become their second home but still they return to their favourite island: Ibiza. In 2013 they were invited by Avicii to play with him at Ushuaia on his sunday party.

Ever since, the two soul-brothers are inseparable.

In 1985 Roque began working professionally in Cuba in Jazz groups, playing Funk, Blues, Latin jazz, Cuban music with such bands as Raices, Nuevas, Tablas, Latin Ensemble, Diakara and Isaac Delgado.
