Mars pump for coal mine

A mars pump is used in the hydraulic power cutting site in a coal mine. Coarse coal

carried from underground by mine cars or belt conveyors.

Slurry with ne coal ows into an intake tank through grooves and pumped up by a

mars pump to a thickener at surface.

Once gathered from three mill plants to the dam the mine !ailings are then

pipelined by mars pumps to the settling pond along the seashore "# km away from

the mine site.

Mars pump for underground lling

Mars pump are fre$uently used for underground lling. %n the case of the downward

& stoping at rst the mi'ed slime of mine tailings with mortar cement is fed and the

tailing are lled after solidication of the articial mortar roof.
