Malachi Instrumentation & Engineering Pty was founded in Durban, on the 3rd of May 2006 by an enthusiastic and headstrong individual. The Primary focus of business is supply, fabricate & install mild and stainless steel works and erection & electrical and instrumentation to the Petro-Chemical, Mining and Industrial sector.

Malachi Engineering director has seen a great demand for Electrical & Instrumentation services in South Africa for the reason that as a country we lack engineering skills & development of the yester years artisans and therefore will bridge the gap of growth and is an emerging business ready to work hand in hand with any company/client both local and abroad. Malachi Engineering’s head office and main operations are based in Durban. We are a proud BEE company and have our sights firmly set on branching out to all nine South African provinces. We specialize in Electrical/Instrument installations .We set out work for artisans to ensure all work done according to AFC drawings, hook-ups and flow sheets. Malachi does work to client specifications. Materials used comply with specification. Artisan’s tasks recorded on a daily bases. Fabrication and installation of mild & stainless steel cable racking systems in MCC, MV Switchgear, DCS, cabling and all site related works . Calibration of instruments to data sheets, installation & commissioning , installation of all types of lighting throughout plant.

We insure all work to be carried out is to be done in a SAFE and productive environment. Ensure all employees are committed to safe working procedures and trained in the necessary tasks. To have no lost time injuries, near misses or Fatalities. All workers understand the permit to work system and relevant safety issues. Environment: We ensure Firstly to make safe the working conditions for all workers regardless of the task. Ensuring that all workers have knowledge of environmental issues pertaining to the plant. The hazardous materials used on plant are identified. All employees to discard all spillages and to do Good housekeeping at all times during end of shift.

We have a strong database allowing us to attain relevant resources and or suppliers promptly allowing us to stay on schedule and in alignment with our programmes and plans.
Keeping costs down and maintaining a high standard of quality in order to achieve maximum profits and excellence is one of our key objectives.

COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENT
MALACHI shall ensure that all of our workshop fabrication done will be set out specifically for our work processes MALACHI Shall conduct regular audits of our suppliers to ensure that they remain SHEQ complaint in terms of legislative and MALACHI procedures and specifications to ensure all work carried out remains on programme and in alignment with core company objectives.
WORKSHOP FABRICATION & SUPPLY
On Award of the contract Malachi shall develop a Project Management Plan, (PMP) which is a formal, approved document used to manage project execution. The PMP documents the actions necessary to define, prepare, integrate and coordinate the various planning activities. The PMP defines how the project is executed, monitored and controlled, and closed. It is progressively elaborated by updates throughout the course of the project.
The PMP is also a communication vehicle for ensuring key stakeholders share an understanding of the project.
The PMP is NOT a project schedule. A project schedule lists planned dates for performing tasks and activities to meet milestones identified in the project plan and shall be tracked using the program developed via MS Projects. Our standard is level 5 .
