The history of a company and an idea….

Nisap Maskinfabrik was founded by blacksmith Nis A. Pedersen and his wife Ingrid Marie Pedersen in 1940.

The company started as a smithy during the second world war

• 1945: Production of agricultural machines started

• 1957: Production of hydraulic machines started

• 1970: Switching production from agricultural implements to material handling equipment

• 1975: Erling Pedersen (son of Nis A. Pedersen) took over the management and is still President of Logitrans

• 1982: Nisap takes over the export company Logitrans

• 1993: Production of fully powered equipment started

• 2009: Starting up production in China

• 2011: Opening own production premises in China

• 2012: Generational change: Dorte Pedersen and Gitte Kirkegaard, daughters of President Erling Pedersen, take over the share majority
