Professional Statement “I have been a working freelance musician since I was 16 years old and I have gone in every direction I can think of from Bhangra to Noise/ Free improv via renaissance Chamber works ,World music and deep electronica dragging my bass and compositional ideas through each genre .

I have had so much experience in nearly all areas of music making and lived through some radical changes in the way we make and interact with music as a medium that its too many to mention here so please get in touch if you have questions about a specific area that you think I may be able to help with chances are I've covered it !

Below is a rough outline of what I have been up to on my life journey in the Arts with music and more specifically Bass playing as my central medium of expression .

Although I enjoy composition and using the studio as an instrument I relish the chance to perform live and engage an audience and this has led me to some of my most memorable experiences as a musician and spurs me on to my next musical endeavour .

I love making my Bass sound like something new and sonically different and love projects that encourage me to do that along with writing compositions tailored to fit specific ideas and concepts .Im extremely interested in frequency and its effects on the human condition to heal and create positive experiences . Organising and directing a large ensemble or performing solo with modern looping technology I love both equally and the journey of expression never ends …”

Most Notable works include Bass Spirituals an Album of Solo Bass loops as backdrops to Artwork /Meditations and a Sound installation and live reaction to “Tarkovsky’s Room” By Artist Helene Roberts and numerous Live Works at the Tactile Bosch Gallery Exhibitions in various venues around Cardiff and South Wales .
