Dear Rolle Families, We are excited to start moving along the track to some sort of normalcy. Staff are looking forward to seeing students in person, and to continue to see those working remotely through meetings. We understand the frustrations that have occurred since spring. Families and staff have learned to adapt and increase our knowledge of technology. As a parent myself, with a student at Rolle and one at Gila Vista Junior High, I understand the importance of working as a team to get through this. When students return to campus, they will notice some changes. Markers have been placed in the walkways to show the direction which people move around the campus. This also allows for students and staff to safely distance from others. Signs are posted around Rolle to remind us all about wearing masks, social distancing and hand washing. There are also signs limiting the number of students and staff in certain areas on campus, such as the bathrooms. Safety is of upmost importance, to allow us to return and to continue to move forward in our journey back to normal. If you have not read the Student/ Parent Guide from the district please take time to familiarize yourself with the important information inside. Especially pay attention to pages 11 and 12 (checking your child for any symptoms before they come to school) and page 33 (if a child is symptomatic or tests positive for Covid-19). Please do not send your child to school if they have any symptoms for the safety of others. Estimados Padres de Familia, Estamos entusiasmados por empezar a avanzar hacia algún tipo de normalidad. El personal está deseoso por poder ver a los alumnos en persona, y seguir en comunicación con los alumnos que continuarán trabajando a distancia. Entendemos las frustraciones que han sentido desde la primavera pasada. Las familias y el personal han aprendido a adaptarse y nuestro conocimiento de tecnología ha crecido. En lo personal como mamá, con estudiantes Gila Vista Junior High y en rolle, entiendo la importancia de trabajar en equipo para poder sobrellevar estos tiempos.

Cuando los estudiantes regresen a la escuela, notaran varios cambios. Encontraran marcas en los pisos mostrando la dirección en la cual deberemos caminar en el campus. Estos de igual manera ayudará a los estudiantes y personal mantener una distancia segura entre unos y otros. Letreros han sido colocados alrededor de la escuela para recordarnos utilizar la máscara, distanciamiento social, y el lavado constante de manos. También se colocaron letreros que señalan el límite de personas permitidas en algunas áreas, como por ejemplo en los baños. La seguridad es de suma importancia para poder permitirnos regresar a clases en persona y avanzar exitosamente a nuestra normalidad. Si no a leído la guía para Estudiantes/padres por favor tome un tiempo para hacerlo y familiarizarse con la información que se le proporciono, es de suma importancia, con especial énfasis en página 11 y 12 (verificar que su estudiante no tenga ningún síntoma de covid-19) y la página 33 ( si el alumno tiene síntomas o prueba positivo con covid-19). Por favor le pedimos que no envíe a su hijo si presenta algún síntoma, por la seguridad de los demás. Masks

• Students and staff will wear cloth face coverings on buses, moving around campus and when social distancing is not feasible, including in classrooms. They may voluntarily wear face coverings at any time.

• Students must have a mask on to enter the school. • Their mask should cover their nose and mouth. • Students can take a mask break when they are at their

desk. If a staff member approaches them they will need to put their mask back on.

• Remember to wash cloth masks everyday or use a new disposable one each day.

• All parents should wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth when entering the office or talking to staff members.

Arrival

• School starts at 9:40am • Breakfast is available to students as they get dropped off

or get off the bus. • Parents that are dropping students off are not allowed

past the gate. • Students will be checked to see if they have a waiver on

file before entry. Do not send your child to school if they do not have a waiver on file.

• Only send your child to school on their designated learning path days. We are planning for them only on the days that were picked in the survey.

Early Pick up Procedure

• Early pick up is discouraged as much as possible.

• When you arrive at school call the front office 502-8200 and a request for student pick up is made.

• Wait in your car for someone to come out and check ID and to check student out. (Office staff will check them out)

• Please try and schedule Dr. appointments before/after school or on early out days (Weds at 2:10pm)

Lunch and Snacks

• Students will be walked to get lunch through the cafeteria and then will eat in the classroom.

• If your student requires it send a non messy snack for later in the afternoon in their backpack.

• We will not be allowing any outside food or goodie bags to be brought in for birthdays etc until further notice.

• Students are encouraged to bring their own water in a wide mouth bottle each day. There are no water fountains open for students. We have a water refill station in the cafeteria.

Belongings

Students should:

• bring a fully charged ipad everyday. • bring the charger to school each day. • bring headphones everyday. • take belongings home everyday to be cleaned

before the student returns. • use their own supplies. They will not be shared. • Not bring toys or playground equipment to

school.

Tapabocas:

· Todos los estudiantes y el personal usarán tapabocas en el autobús, al estar caminando en el campus y cuando el distanciamiento social no sea posible, incluyendo en el salón de clases. Podrán usar el tapabocas voluntariamente en todo momento. · Deberán usarlo tapaboca para entrar a la escuela. · Deberá cubrir la boca y la nariz. · Los alumnos podrán tomar un descanso de el tapabocas cuando están en su

escritorio. Si alguien se encuentra cerca de el alumno necesitará usar el tapabocas nuevamente. · Recuerde lavar el tapabocas diariamente o usar un tapabocas desechables Nuevo cada día. · Los padres de familia deberán utilizar un tapabocas que cubra nariz y boca al ingresar a la oficina, o al hablar con algún miembro del personal.

Entrada:

· Las clases inician a las 9:40. · Desayunos estarán disponibles al llegar a la escuela. · Los padres de familia no se les permitirá acceso a las instalaciones. · Se verificará en la entrada que los alumnos tengan su acuerdo de renuncia firmada antes de ingresar al plantel, no se les permitirá el acceso si no contamos con él en su expediente.

· Envié a los alumnos a la escuela solo en los días asignados , ya que planearemos en base a su respuesta a la encuesta.

· Informe a su maestro cuál será la manera de transporte del alumno. · De igual manera informe a su maestro del número de autobús asignado a su alumno.

· Cualquier cambio debe ser comunicado al maestro por medio de dojo no más tarde de las 3 pm. El recoger a los alumnos temprano no es recomendado, si es de suma importancia será de la siguiente manera:

· Al llegar a la escuela llamar a la oficina 502-8200 y solicitar poder recoger al alumno. · Espere en su auto y alguien verificará su ID y se llamará al alumno. · Por favor intente agendar cita antes o después el horario de clases o

los miércoles que es día corto (salida a las 2:10)

Almuerzo y bocadillo

· Los alumnos caminarán a la cafetería por su almuerzo y comerán en su salón de clases. · Si su alumno lo requiere, envié un bocadillo práctico para la tarde en su mochila. · No se permitirá comida de fuera o bolsas de golosinas para compartir en cumpleaños hasta nuevo aviso.

Pertenencias:

· Traer su Ipad cargada completamente todos los días. · Traer su cargador diariamente. · Traer audífonos todos los días. · Todos los días el alumno deberá llevarse sus pertenencias para limpiarse en casa. · Cada alumno utilizara sus propios útiles. No se compartirán. · No se permitirá traer juguetes o equipo de deportes a la escuela.
