Joaquín Rodrigo nació en Sagunto (Valencia) el 22 de noviembre de 1901. A los tres años de edad se quedó prácticamente ciego a causa de una infección de difteria. Según él mismo, la pérdida parcial de la vista le colocó en el camino de la música.
Joaquín Rodrigo falleció en Madrid el 6 de julio de 1999. Sus restos descansan en el cementerio de Aranjuez.

Estos son algunos de los datos que se recogerán de los informantes:
1. Nombre y apellidos.
2. Edad.
3. Lugar de nacimiento.
4. Pueblo en el que vive en la actualidad.
5. ¿Siempre ha vivido en el mismo pueblo?
6. ¿Fue a la escuela? ¿Qué estudios hizo?
7. ¿En qué trabaja o ha trabajado?
8. ¿Hay alguna leyenda, superstición, cuento, chascarrillo, canción, romance, etc. que recuerde de su infancia o juventud?
9. ¿Cómo ha aprendido lo que recuerda? ¿Se lo ha transmitido a sus hijos o nietos?
10.¿Qué fiestas populares hay en su pueblo? ¿Hay algunas religiosas?
11.¿Cómo son? ¿Quién las organiza?
12.¿A qué santos se les tiene devoción?
Quien realice la encuesta deberá consignar su nombre y la fecha de la realización de la misma.
Una vez que se han obtenido los datos, por medio de la grabación, hay que transcribirlos fielmente, por lo que se deben respetar todos los giros lingüísticos de la zona, así como el léxico autóctono. Después se clasifica el material, se selecciona y se valora.

8. Are there some legend, superstition, tale, song, etc. that you remember from your earliest memory?
9. How did you learn so? Have you transmited to your child or your grandchild?
10. What festival do you know from your village? Some of those are religious?
11. How are those? Who organise those festivals?
Who makes the survey must indicate his name and the survey date.
