    Dear Mrs. Powers:

I am pleased to write to you to greet warmly and commissioned by the Dean of the Faculty of Law,

we manifest our commitment to conduct academic exchange program and make this come true.

Analyzing the agreement and its respective Addenda, these documents permit the exchangeprogram for foreign students. The basic requirements for students are followed:

    1. Have economic capacity to cover accommodation costs and stay.

    2. Knowledge of intermediate level of the respective language.

    3. To cover the costs of transportation, visas, health insurance and other mandatory cost that is

    generated.

    4. Have a high academic performance and have passed at least half of your curricula.

This exchange program is possible because we have the academic recognition for your Faculty ofstudies and courses taken in Lima, and another hand with our commitment to provide aid to

students in finding suitable accommodation, as well as give the record for studies and provide basic

services such as library and access to the necessary infrastructure for the development of foreign

    students academic activities.

In this sense, the next step forward is developing a plan of Academic Exchange, which comprisesthe subjects and credits to be study and its corresponding recognition. To make these issues easier, I

think it is as simple: choose three of four courses from our list of Academic plan that student will be

more interested in. As a suggestion I invite you to visit our website:

http://www.derecho.usmp.edu.pe/ and enter to " servicios" and then "consultas por curso" and based

on that choice we will define the plan.

The studying period, should possible be coincided with the Academic Calendar of both universities, for this reason it is desirable that this exchange will materialize in August to December this year.

It is important to remember that students must do their payments at Santa Clara University and not

pay any amount in our University.

Finally, we will do what is necessary to complete with the purpose of contributing to the

development of an international experience to enrich the Law education of students who will visit

    us.

    Yours sincerely,

    Fatima Castro Aviles
