Inkunableak, inprimatutako lehen hitzakEgunotan Aldundiko Liburutegian dagoen erakusketak aukera paregabea ematen du benetako harribitxi literario eta historikoak aurrez aurre ikusteko. Gaur egun Bizkaiko Foru Aldundiak dauzkan 40 inkunableak dira, inprenta XV. mendearen erdi aldera agertu zenetik 1501. urtera arte inprimatu-tako liburuak.

50 urte eskas horietan, Europan antzinako eskuizkribuetatik tipo mugigarri bidez inprimatutako lehen liburuetarako aldaketa prozesua gertatu zen. Inprimaketa tekniko berri hori askoz ere azka-rragoa eta praktikoagoa zen eta kultura mundu osoan zabaltzen eta maila sozial orotan unibertsal bihurtzen lagundu zuen.

Erakusketa honetan, Bizkaiko Foru Aldundiak herritarrei ateak zabaldu nahi dizkie harribitxi hauek ikus ditzaten. Alemanian (inprenta modernoaren sorlekua), Espainian, Italian, Frantzian eta Suitzan inprimatutakoak dira. Horien artean dago, gainera, Missale Tirasonensis izenekoa, 1500. urtean Iru-ñean inprimatu zen inkunable baliotsua, alegia.

Inkunableak balio ikaragarriko ondarea dira. Horiei zor diegu gaur egun garena, pentsamenduaren eta ezagutzaren iturri izan baitziren. Geure historia dira, geure iragana, benetako iraultza kulturala sortu zuen aldaketaren emaitza.

Incunables, las primeras palabras impresas La exposición que acoge estos días la Biblioteca Foral supone una oportunidad única para poder con-templar de primera mano auténticas joyas literarias e históricas. Son los 40 incunables de que dispone actualmente la Diputación de Bizkaia, libros impresos desde la aparición de la imprenta a mediados del siglo XV hasta 1501.

En estos escasos 50 años, se vivió en Europa el proceso de cambio de los antiguos manuscritos a los primeros libros impresos, utilizando los tipos móviles, una nueva técnica de impresión mucho más rápida y práctica que ayudó a difundir la cultura por todo el mundo y a universalizarla entre todas las clases sociales.

En esta exposición, la Diputación de Bizkaia abre las puertas a los ciudadanos para que puedan contemplar estas joyas, impresas en países como Alemania (cuna de la imprenta moderna), España, Italia, Francia y Suiza. Entre ellos, figura además el Missale Tirasonensis, un valioso incunable impre-so en Pamplona en el año 1500.

Los incunables representan un legado de un valor extraordinario. A ellos les debemos lo que somos, ya que fueron fuente de pensamiento y conocimiento. Son nuestra historia, nuestro pasado, el fruto de un cambio que originó una auténtica revolución cultural.

Ahora, la Diputación Foral de Bizkaia ofrece a través de esta exposición una oportunidad única para conocer más de cerca estos libros, que ayudaron a cambiar el mundo y que se han convertido en una parte fundamental de la Historia de la Humanidad.

Incunabula, the earliest printed words The exhibition currently on at the Biblioteca Foral library provides a unique opportunity to see at first hand some true literary and historical gems, in the shape of the 40 incunabula -- books produced between the invention of printing in the mid-15th century and the year 1501 -- currently owned by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia.

In barely 50 years, hand-copied books were displaced in Europe by the first printed volumes produced with moving type, a new, much faster, more practical printing technique which helped spread culture across the world and to all social classes.

With this exhibition, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia offers the public the opportunity to see rare books printed in Germany (the cradle of modern printing), Spain, Italy, France and Switzerland. The works on show include the highly valuable Missale Tirasonensis, printed in Pamplona in 1500.

Incunabula represent a priceless heritage. What we have become we owe to them, as they were a source of knowledge and thought. They represent our history, our past, the first fruits of a change that was to become a true cultural revolution.

In this exhibition, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia offers a unique opportunity to take a closer look at these volumes, which helped change the world and which have become a fundamental part of the history of humanity.
