3Que el generoso amor*, la compasiny la paz de Dios Padre y de su Hijo Jesu-cristo permanezcan con nosotros. Estas

bendiciones se reciben por medio de laverdad y del amor.4Me alegr mucho porque encontr a

algunos de tus hijos viviendo en la ver-dad, tal como el Padre nos orden.5Ahora, estimada seora, te ruego quenos amemos unos a otros. No estoy dn-dote un mandamiento nuevo, sino el quehemos odo desde el principio. 6El amores poner en prctica los mandamientosde Dios. Es el mismo mandamiento que

ustedes han odo desde el principio: quevivan una vida de amor.

7En el mundo hay muchos engaado-res que no creen que Jesucristo vinocomo ser humano. El que ensee eso esun falso maestro y enemigo de Cristo.8Tengan mucho cuidado para no echar aperder el resultado de nuestro trabajo, ypara recibir completa su recompensa.

9Todo aquel que vaya ms all de laenseanza acerca de Cristo y la cambie,

no tiene a Dios, pero el que viva deacuerdo a ella, tiene al Padre y al Hijo.10No reciban en su casa al que no tengaesta enseanza, ni le den la bienvenida.11El que le d la bienvenida participa ensus malas acciones.
