Los clientes eligen su desayuno en la barra y después se van a la mesa.

El desayuno es típicamente andaluz: zumos, café y un bocadillo.

The clients choose their breakfast in the bar, then they go to the table.

The breakfast is a typical andalusian breakfast: juices, coffee and a sandwich .

El cliente puede tomar zumos de piña, melocotón, manzana o zumo de naranja natural.

El cliente coge la jarra y se sirve él mismo.

The client can have pineapple, peach, apple or natural orange juice.

Si te gusta la fruta puedes escoger plátanos: naranjas o manzanas. El melocotón en almíbar

está muy rico.

En el buffet también hay yogures de varios sabores: fresa, natural y macedonia.

If you like the fruit, you can have: bananas, oranges or apples. Peach syrup is very nice.

In the buffet there are also different flavours of yoghurts: strawberry, natural and fruit salad.

Si te gustan los cereales puedes coger un cuenco y servirte lo que quieras.

Puedes pedir leche fría o leche caliente. No olvides coger una cucharilla y una servilleta.

If you like cereals you can take a bowl and help yourself as you wish.

You can ask for cold or hot milk. Don´t forget to take a spoon and a serviette.

Estas son las tartas. Hoy tenemos/servimos tarta de manzana y bizcocho.

Los alumnos de cocina preparan las tartas todos los días. Están deliciosas. ¿Te gustaría

probarlas?

These are the cakes. Today we have apple cake and sponge cake. The students from the cooking

course prepare the cakes every day. They are delicious. Would you like to try them?

El aceite de oliva es muy importante en el desayuno andaluz. El cliente puede pedir: tostadas con aceite y sal o

 tostadas con aceite, tomate y jamón que se llama “Catalana con jamón serrano”. Esto es un ejemplo de la

“Dieta Mediterránea”.

The olive oil is very important for andalucian breakfast. The client can ask for toast with oil and salt or toast with oil, tomato

and serrano ham that is called “Catalana” with ham. This is an example of the “Mediterranean diet”.

El cliente puede elegir dulces pequeños. Estos dulces están muy ricos y son pequeñitos .. Así 

que siempre puedes coger otro más.

The client can chooses small cakes. These cakes are very nice and they are so tiny…. So you can always

take another one….

Tu también puedes probar tostadas con mantequilla y mermelada.

Hay mantequilla con sal y sin sal. Hay mermelada de melocotón o de fresa.

You can also try toast with butter and marmalade. There is unsalted butter and salted butter. There is

peach marmalade and strawberry marmalade.

Los bollitos de pan son muy pequeños. Ellos se llaman “pitufos”.

El cliente puede pedir tostadas con paté de cerdo.

The small breads are very little. They are called “smurfs”.

The client can ask for toast with liver paté.

Hay dos tipos de pan. Pan de harina y pan integral.

La mayoría de nuestros productos están presentados en cestas o bandejas.

El cliente no toca los productos, él usa unas pinzas.

There are two types of bread. Flour bread and Whole-grain bread.

Most of our products are set in baskets or trays.

Clients mustn´t touch the product, they use tongs.

El cliente pone rodajas de tomate en “la catalana”. Muchos clientes utilizan además la

mayonesa. Depende de ti.

The client puts tomato slices in the “Catalana”. Many of our clients also use mayonnaise. It depends on

you.

En España "la chacina" es muy corriente.

A nosotros nos encantan los bocadillos de jamón york y queso, o de salchichón o de chorizo.

Pero mi favorito es el bocadillo de jamón serrano. Algunos clientes también ponen mayonesa en

el bocadillo.

Cold meat is quite common in Spain. We love a cheese and ham sandwich, or a spicy sausage

sandwich or a highly-seasoned pork sandwich. However, my favorite one is a Serrano ham sandwich.

Some clients put mayonnaise on it too.

Muchos clientes piden un bocadillo de tortilla española para desayunar.

Es muy importante usar aceite de oliva cuando haces esta tortilla. Es incluso más importante si

la puedes comer caliente.

Many clients ask for a Spanish omelet sandwich for breakfast.

It´s very important to use olive oil when you are making this omelet. It is even more important if you can eat it

warm.

Algunos clientes eligen el desayuno inglés. Ya sabes: huevos revueltos y bacon.

Este es un desayuno muy energético. Ten cuidado con las calorías!!!

Some clients choose an English breakfast. You know: scrambled eggs and bacon. This is a very

energetic breakfast. Watch out for the calories.

Puedes tomar todo tipo de cafés: Café con leche, un mitad, una nube, un cortado o un

descafeinado. Tu también puedes pedir un batido de chocolate.

You can have any kind of coffee: white coffee, a cup of coffee with half milk, milk with a bit of 

coffee, coffee with a dash of milk or a decaffeinated coffee.

Los profesores desayunan de 11.00 a 11.30 de la mañana.

El desayuno se sirve los lunes, martes y jueves todas las semanas.

Teachers have breakfast between eleven o´clock and half past eleven in the morning.

Our breakfast is served every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday every week.
