An Industry Renaissance — a new way of seeing the world, inventing, lear-ning, producing and selling, where virtual and real combine — is happening all over the globe. Digital experience platforms are the infrastructure of this Renaissance. They are transforming learning by harnessing the power of virtual experience to give formal qualifications real competitive value. At the same time, they are supporting the emergence of new jobs and new ways of learning.
Transforming learning through virtual experienceThe new book is the virtual experience! Virtual experience is the newest form of knowledge and know-how, allowing everyone to enhance their abilities and defining the workforce of the future.
Learning by collaborating: leveraging new learning methods based on engagement in collaborative, multidisciplinary projects.
Learning by doing: through experimentation, like at FabLabs that work in partnership with the 3DEXPERIENCE® Lab, Dassault Systèmes’ dedicated startup accelerator.
Learning by working: bringing the enterprise into schools via digital experience platforms to develop the necessary skills to meet the needs of industry.
Unifying learning and employment ecosystems The economy of the 21st century is based on high value-added ecosystems where the real and the virtual merge to produce goods and experiences. Virtual experience platforms take performance to new heights, boosting the capacity of teams tasked with imagining and producing new offerings. Career and qualifications campuses bring together industrial and initial/vocational training ecosystems. They allow students to acquire first-hand experience of innovative technologies and methods used by leading industrial firms.
Campus Fab, for example, is a dedicated high-tech training facility developed by aerospace professionals under the impetus of Safran. It will enable both young apprentices and more experienced employees to acquire next-generation skills and techniques required for industry. They will get the benefit of the latest technologies, including virtual and augmented reality, connected machines and collaborative robots (cobots). Dassault Systèmes is partnering this initiative, which leverages digital technology to create new ways of producing.
At Ditex, students are already working with next-generation techniques.
