WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR INFORMATION DOESNOT MATCH WITH SSAS OR DHS DATABASES?I your employer runs your inormation through E-Veriy
and receives a mismatch, which is known as a entative Non-
conrmation (NC), your employer must promptly give you
written notication o the NC and ask you whether you want
to contest the NC.
I you decide to challenge the NC, your employer will give you
a reerral letter providing you with details on how to contact the
SSA or DHS to resolve your case. You and your employer must
both sign the NC and the reerral letter.
YOUR RIGHT TO WORK IF YOU TIMELY CONTEST
A TENTATIVE NON-CONFIRMATION (TNC)Employers may not take any adverse action against an employeebecause he/she contests a NC. Tis includes ring, suspending,
