Descubriendo el mundo.se nos pas el curso: Qudifcil es intentar resumir todo el ao en un libro lleno deimgenes!. No voy a nombrar todas las actividadesrealizadas este curso porque no quiero dejarme ninguna yen las siguientes pginas las recordaris.

nuestro himno que no es ms que el reflejo fiel de lo querealmente somos y demostramos cada ao.

Nuestros proyectos, de la mano de nuestros profesoresy alumnos, siguiendo su ritmo, contando con su realidad, traduciendo: aprender por descubrir, convivir porjugar y sobre todo crecer (en todos los sentidos). Todoello ha sido el motor que pone en marcha, la alegra yvalorCompromiso y pasin que nos hace seguir..y comono, la seguridad que se necesita para recordar, aumentar ymodificar los aprendizajes.

Pero lo ms importante de este tiempo que hemos compartido juntos, es que nuestros alumnos un ao ms sehan sentido tiles, capaces de dar y recibir, queridos yrespaldados.

No hay proyecto educativo que sustituya la tarea personal, insustituible, de padres y profesores por lo que lesagradezco de corazn, el esfuerzo, cario y empeo quehan puesto todos ellos en esta aventura que es: laEDUCACIN EN INTERNACIONAL ARAVACA.

PROyECTO COLAbORACINUn proyecto de colaboracin entre las diferentes etapas del colegio, con el fin de que nuestros alumnospusieran en prctica los valores que enseamos a diario, como el respeto y la responsabilidad, en lacomunidad a la que pertenecen SU COLEGIO.

APADRINADOS: Los alumnos de secundaria voluntariamente hemos colaborado con las profesoras yalumnos de primaria. Hemos sido ayudantes y profesores de apoyo para estos alumnos. Si pasaba algo,nos tenan a nosotros para ayudarles.Hemos colaborado en actividades como manualidades con alumnos, decoracin de pasillos,extraescolares, juegos en el patio y el taller de lectura-teatro haciendo juegos y actividades para trabajarla comprensin oral y la inteligencia emocional a travs de los personajes.

... hemos aprendido a ser ms responsables y a cuidar a los nios con estas actividades. Los alumnosy sus profesores nos han tratado genial, y estamos agradecidos de ello

Estos dos meses nos han servido de gran ayuda, tanto como de forma de ser personal, a influencias en nuestro da a da. Nos hemos dado cuenta del esfuerzo que ponen los profesores enrealizar su trabajo todos los das, y esperamos poder ser tan buenas personas con los dems como lohan sido ellos con nosotros.

Year 5 and 6 students went to visit theVertedero de Valdemingmez this lastweek to see what exactly happens withthe rubbish generated in Madrid. We alllearned some very interesting facts,such as that this centre alone receivesmore than 4,000 tons (4 MILLION Kg) ofresidues every day. Its a number that isvery hard to imagine, and it surprised usall very much.

Through our Captain Planet project,students have become very aware ofthe importance of reducing consumptionand what to do with the residue createdfrom our consumption. The monitors were surprised to see how well Ia students knew how toseparate the different rubbish into the multiple recycling bins available around Madrid. Studentsalso got the chance to compete amongst each other in a shopping game where they had to tryand buy the most ecological products as possible.

When a little older we hope to take students back so they can visit the plants where workersand machines separate the different rubbish so as to recycle it and put it back into circulation.

Los alumnos de 1. ESO han realizadohoy una salida encuadrada en el marcodel departamento de humanidades. Enprimer lugar, hemos acudido al temploegipcio de Debod donde los alumnoshan podido trabajar sobre su origen, suarquitectura y los datos ms caractersticosde su historia.Posteriormente, nos hemos trasladado

al Barrio de las Letras donde hemosrealizado una gymkana literaria,pasando por puntos tan emblemticoscomo la casa de Lope de Vega, la casade Cervantes o el convento de lasTrinitarias, lugar donde descansan losrestos del escritor ms famoso de lasletras espaolas. Despus de investigarsobre el origen de la Real Academia dela Historia, de averiguar quin fue el primer socio del Ateneo de Madrid o de localizar la casa en la quehabitaron Jacinto Benavente o Quevedo, hemos concluido la visita en el carrilln PlusUltra de la plaza delas Cortes a las 12:00, contemplando las coloridas esculturas diseadas por Mingote en este ingeniosoartilugio.

Los alumnos de 3 ESO vistan el Congreso de los diputados, Cmara baja de lasCortes generales. Aprendieroncon una visita guiada, desde la historia del edificio y susancdotas, hasta las funciones parlamentarias y legislativas que la Constitucinatribuye a dicha Cmara. T.C.A.

Secondary went to the theatre. They attend totwo different plays. First, the 1st graderswatched a play based on the plot of the Murderin the Orient Express. Some of them had to actsome roles on the stage and they not onlyshowed their English skills in action but alsotheir acting talent in front of their classmates.They had a great time and really enjoyedthemselves.

Students from 2 and 3 of ESO saw a playcalled Spectacular, spectacular, a briefhistory of theatre from the cavemen toShakespeare via Greece. It was a reallyenjoyable experience and again some of thestudents got up n stge to act. It was athoroughly enjoyable experience.
