CHRISTMAS BOXES On Friday, Nov 8th the Friday Ladies Bible Study will be getting together to make ready the Christmas Boxes so they can be taken to the drop off location. They will

be working from 9am to approx. 12 noon. If you are available please stop by and help. This is a big job for the few ladies that normally do this project. Any questions please see Peggy Schoepp.

Join us on the First Wednesday, on November 6th, for our All-Church Fellowship Dinner in the Voorhees Hall at 6 pm followed by an All-Church Bilingual Worship Service at 7 pm and Small Groups breakout from 8 - 8:30 pm. Come get to know us better. Have a great dinner. Worship as 1 church in 2 languages. All in one night. To make it a success every month WE NEED YOU. There are sign-up sheets inside this bulletin. Únase a nosotros el primer miércoles, el 6 de noviembre, para nuestra Cena de Compañerismo de Toda la iglesia en el Salón Voorhees a las 6 pm, seguido de un Servicio de Adoración Bilingüe a las 7 pm y Grupos Pequeños de 8 a 8:30 pm. Venga para conocernos mejor. Tenga una buena cena. Adoramos como 1 iglesia en 2 idiomas. Todo en una noche. Para que sea un éxito cada mes TE NECESITAMOS. Hay hojas de inscripción dentro de este boletín. Trabajemos juntos para hacer de este un gran evento de comunión y adoración para nuestra iglesia. ¡Nos vemos en la iglesia!

COMING UP! MORE AT FIRST PRES ¡LO QUE VIENE!

FISH HOSPITALITY PROGRAM, INC. Our church will be hosting homeless families through FISH HOSPITALITY PROGRAM, INC from Sunday, November 3 to Sunday, November 10. Fish Hospitality was started 29 years ago by members of FPC Dunellen in obedience to God’s word:

“Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds

will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the LORD will protect you from behind.” (Isaiah 58:7–8)

The Fish Hospitality Planning Team believes that God will use our renewed commitment to this ministry to also bring restoration, renewal and awakening to our church and community. Hosting several families in our building for an entire week requires the whole church to participate. It is really important that every leader, staff-member, covenant partner, and attender get involved. Two church volunteers are require d to be in the building each day during the hours of the program 5:30pm-8am. There must be both a man and a woman volunteer each night as overnight hosts. We need to unload, set up, provide 7 days of breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as spend time with and care for wonderful families that God so loved. That means there are plenty of opportunities for all of us to serve. Take a look at the list below and ask the Lord which task He is calling you to commit to, then contact the appropriate person to sign up. Thanks for serving the Lord by serving others. PROGRAMA DE HOSPITALIDAD FISH

Nuestra iglesia acogerá familias sin hogar a través de FISH HOSPITALITY PROGRAM, INC desde el domingo, 3 de noviembre hasta el domingo, 10 de noviembre. La hospitalidad FISH se inició hace 29 años por miembros de la PIPD en obediencia a la palabra de Dios:

“Comparte tu comida con los hambrientos y da cobijo a las personas sin hogar. Ofrezca ropa a quienes la necesitan y no se esconda de los

familiares que necesitan su ayuda. Entonces tu salvación vendrá como el alba, y tus heridas sanarán rápidamente. Tu piedad te guiará hacia

adelante, y la gloria del Señor te protegerá por detrás ” (Isaías 58: 7–8)

El Equipo de Planificación de la Hospitalidad FISH cree que Dios usará nuestro compromiso renovado con este ministerio para traer también restauración, renovación y despertar a nuestra iglesia y comunidad. Alojar a varias familias en nuestro edificio durante una semana completa requiere la participación de toda la iglesia. Es realmente importante que cada líder, miembro del personal, socio de pacto y asistente se involucre. Se requiere que dos voluntarios de la iglesia estén en el edificio cada día durante las horas del programa 5:30 pm-8 am. Debe haber un hombre y una mujer voluntarios cada noche como anfitriones durante la noche. Necesitamos descargar, acomodar, proporcionar 7 días de desayuno, almuerzo y cena, así como pasar tiempo y cuidar a las maravillosas familias que Dios tanto ama. Eso significa que hay muchas oportunidades para que todos podamos servir.
