    History

    In 1998 After hurricane Mitch devastated the country,the company began Research in the home building

    sector, and in mid-2002 started its first big scale homedevelopment project, Residential El Manantial,comprises 1,000 housing units, this neighborhood iscurrently a thriving community with a population ofmore than 3,500 residents in the suburbs toTegucigalpa, Honduras.

    In 2006 we began developing the biggest gatedcommunity in Central America , Los Hidalgos "MasterPlanned" that will comprises 5,000 homes, Parks,Hospital, and recreational areas. Currently los Hidalgoshas more than 1,000 residents and 300 homes.

    Special Purpose Enterprise

    Each project will be under a Special Purpose Enterprise Company, that will be own by

    Urbanisa and the Local Construction Company, sometimes:

    a) Land owners, b) Real Estate company, c) Architectural Design , d) Sub Contractor

    can be added to the SPE as share holders .

    In the future if more founding is needed, the SPE can sell bonds debt to fund the project.Projects of SPE will be supervised by external Inspection Company.

    More than 4.84 million persons are in housing shortage inCentral American region

    In the Central American bloc including Panama, Dominican Republic andBelize, four out of ten families are hoping to have decent housing andsafe for habitation, the study of the American Council on Housing and

    Human Settlements (CCVAH).

    Thus, a total of 11.3 million households, more than 4.84 million eligiblehousing deficit: either because they have no home or because thedwelling does not meet basic quality conditions.

    In the rest of the region, even for the most robust economies. Costa Rica hasthe highest deficit in quality, with 91%, while Panama, the highest percentagein number of homes needed, with 73% of families without according toCCVAH.

    1996 Automatic URBANISA was Founded in Tegucigalpa as Technology oriented company
