GRAPEFRUIT GROVE CARD

TIPS: - Score card front at 4-1/4”, fold away from the groove of the score line, and burning (rub firmly)

with the Bone Folder. - Attach Basic Black layer to card front. Then attach Whisper White layer to that layer. - Cut a ‘flag’ at one end of the DSP piece. With Paper Snips, make a 3/4”-ish cut right up the

middle of one end of the DSP. Then cut from one corner diagonally to the end of the diagonal cut. Repeat from the other corner, creating the ‘flag’. Attach this piece to the Whisper White layer on the card front as shown in photo.

- On the small piece of Whisper White card stock, using Black Memento ink, stamp the outline image of the smallest vase. Stamp it again on computer paper or vellum, creating a mask. Cut or punch this vase and place it over the outline vase. Still using the Black Memento ink, stamp the stem for the flower. Then stamp the outline flower image.

- Now, using Grapefruit Grove ink, stamp the filler image inside the vase outline and the flower. - Sticking with the Black Memento ink, stamp the greeting on the lower left. - Attach this stamped layer to the Basic Black card stock piece and then attach those layers to the

card front using five Dimensionals.

LOVELY LIPSTICK CARD

TIPS: - Score card front at 4-1/4”, fold away from the groove of the score line, and burning (rub firmly)

with the Bone Folder. Attach Basic Black layer to card front. Then attach Whisper White layer to that layer.

- Using the Big Shot and Layering Circle Framelits Dies, cut a 1-7/8” circle from the Whisper White scrap and a 2” scalloped circle from the Lovely Lipstick card stock scrap.

- Stamp the shortest vase with Memento Black ink on a Whisper White scrap. Using Lovely Lipstick, stamp the patterned filler inside the vase.

- Punch vase out with the Vase Builder Punch. Lay that piece on the Whisper White circle and determine where to stamp two stems. On another scrap, stamp two tulips. Using Lovely Lipstick ink, stamp the inside of the first tulip and then without re-inking, stamp the second tulip. Punch out with the Vase Builder Punch.

- Attach the vase and the two tulips with Dimensionals to the Whisper White circle. Attach that layer to the Lovely Lipstick scallop circle. Set aside.

- Cut a ‘flag’ at one end of the DSP piece. With Paper Snips, make a 3/4”-ish cut right up the middle of one end of the DSP. Then cut from one corner diagonally to the end of the diagonal cut. Repeat from the other corner, creating the ‘flag’. Attach this piece to the Whisper White layer on the card front as shown in photo.

PINEAPPLE PUNCH CARD

TIPS: - Attach larger Basic Black layer to card front. Then attach Whisper White layer to that layer. - On the smaller piece of Whisper White card stock, using Memento Black ink, stamp the outline

scalloped image. You’ll be about 3 scallops short, so carefully position your image (after re-inking!) and stamp the extra scallops. - Now ink up the solid scallop piece using Pineapple Punch classic ink and carefully stamp inside

the previous scallops. - Place a piece of computer paper (not card stock — it’s too thick) over the scallops and, using black

Memento ink, stamp the taller vase as if it’s resting on the scallops. Stamp that image again on a piece of scrap paper and either punch or ‘fussy cut’ it out (using paper snips/scissors). - Place the ‘mask’ you just cut/punched out over the vase and then ink up the narrow neck vase

using Memento Black, and stamp it next to, but overlapping, the taller vase. Remove the mask and you’ll see that the second vase looks as if it’s slightly behind the taller one.

- Stamp the solid patterned images on each vase using Pineapple Punch classic ink. Be sure to use the mask when stamping the patterned image on the shorter vase.

- Now you can use the same mask twice, once on each vase: cover vase #1 and stamp the flower image. Repeat with vase #2 and the other flower image.

x 3” - 2018-2020 In Color 6” x 6” Designer Series

- You can remove the masks and, using Pineapple Punch class ink, stamp the solid flower images in the appropriate places.

- Using Memento Black ink, stamp your greeting in the lower left area. - I used a little Crushed Curry Enamel Dot next to my vase because I had left a small black smudge

mark. It covered it perfectly.
