Charging System Status - The light

indicates that battery voltage is outsidethe range of 24.8 to 29.5 VDC. Whilethe engine is running, the light also





turns on when the alternator frequencyis below 90 Hz. In addition to this

indicator lighting, the action alarm willalso activate when the battery voltage

falls below 23 DCV or the batteryvoltage rises above 32 DCV.

Starting Aid - During the time thislamp is active, the injector solenoidsare bing activated in order to warm the

oil that is in the injectors. The rapidactuation of the solenoids will produce

a buzzing noise that can be heardoutside the engine. This is a normal

condition. The lamp will run for 20seconds at −9 °C (15.8 °F) and 30seconds at −18 °C (−0.4 °F). Duringthis time it is better to wait for the lamp

to deactivate before attempting to startthe engine though no damage will be

done if cranking is performed.

Low Engine Coolant Flow - The lightindicates that the engine coolant is not

flowing. The status is determined by thecoolant flow switch on machines with

mechanically governed engines.

Engine Coolant Level Status - This

light indicates the status of the enginecoolant level.

High Inlet Manifold Temperature -The light indicates that the Engine ECM

has detected a condition for high inletmanifold temperature. This information

is received from the engine ECM.

Low Engine Oil Pressure - This lightindicates that the engine oil pressure is

low. This is determined by the engineoil pressure switch. The indicator lights

when the switch voltage is high or theswitch voltage is floating.

High Engine Coolant Temperature -This light indicates that the coolanttemperature has risen above 107 °C.The indicator turns off when the

temperature drops below 104 °C. Thisinformation is received from the





hydrostatic transmission control via theCAT data link.

Air Filter Restriction - This

application is used with HEUI engines.The light indicates that the air filter is

restricted. The status is received fromthe engine ECM via the CAT data link.

Check Engine Status - This application

is used with HEUI engines. The lightindicates that the engine system requires

service. The status is received from theengine ECM via the CAT data link.

Air Inlet Heater - This lightindicates whether the heater is

on or off. If the light isflashing, the heater is on.

Charging System Status - The lightindicates that the battery voltage isoutside the range of 24.8 to 29.5 VDC.While the engine is running, the light

also turns on when the alternator frequency is below 90 Hz. In addition to

Gearbox Oil Temperature - 973C

BCP This light indicates that thegearbox oil temperature is greater than

115 °C. The temperature is receivedfrom the gearbox oil temperature sensor.

High Power Train Oil Temperature -973C "top row" This light indicates

that the power train oil temperature isgreater than 95 °C. The temperature is

received from the power train oiltemperature sensor.

High Implement Oil Temperature -973C "bottom row" This light

indicates that the implement oiltemperature is greater than 102 °C. Thetemperature is received from the

implement oil temperature sensor.





Transmission System Status - This

light indicates the warning level of thetransmission system. The status is

received from the hydrostatictransmission control via the CAT datalink.

Power Train Filter

Restriction - This lightindicates that the power train

filter is restricted. The power train filter switch and the power train oil temperaturesensor control this indicator.

The warning light will come onwhen the oil temperature is

greater than 52 °C and theswitch indicates that the filter

is plugged.

High Hydraulic Oil

Temperature - This lightindicates that the hydraulic oil

temperature is greater than 100°C. The temperature is received

from the hydraulic oiltemperature sensor.

Hydraulic Oil Filter Restriction -This light indicates that the hydraulic

oil filter is restricted. The hydraulic oiltemperature sensor controls this

indicator. The warning light will comeon when the oil temperature is greater

than 38°C.

Parking Brake Engaged - The lightindicates that the parking brake is

engaged. Parking brake status isreceived over the data link. Theinformation is used to modify the

warning level of this indicator. If themachine is in neutral, only the indicator

lights. If the machine is in a forwardgear or a reverse gear, the action lamp

activates and the action alarm activates.

Braking System Status - This lightindicates the warning level of the braking system. The status is receivedvia the CAT data link.





Low Fuel Level - This light indicateslow fuel.

Low & High Fuel Pressure - This

light indicates that the fuel pressure ishigh. This light also indicates that the

fuel pressure is low.

Bidirectional shift switch 1 - The lightindicates that the "bidirectional shift

switch 1" is active. The information isreceived by the Caterpillar Monitoring

system from the Transmission ECM viathe CAT data link. The indicator lights

remain ON. The indicator light does notflash.

Bidirectional shift switch 2 - The light

indicates that the "bidirectional shiftswitch 2" is active. The information is

received by the Caterpillar Monitoringsystem from the Transmission ECM via

the CAT data link. The indicator lightsremain ON. The indicator light does notflash.

Bidirectional shift switch 3 - The lightindicates that the "bidirectional shift

switch 3" is active. The information isreceived by the Caterpillar Monitoring

system from the Transmission ECM viathe CAT data link. The indicator lights

remain ON. The indicator light does notflash.

Auto Kickdown Switch - The light

indicates that the Auto kickdownswitch is active. The light will comeON when the switch voltage is high or floating. The information is received bythe Caterpillar Monitoring system from

the Transmission ECM via the CATdata link. The indicator lights remain

ON. The indicator light does not flash.

Auto Kick-Down Switch - The lightindicates that the Auto kickdown

switch is active. The light will comeON when the switch voltage is high or

floating. The information is received by





the Caterpillar Monitoring system fromthe Transmission ECM via the CAT

data link. The indicator lights remainON. The indicator light does not flash.

Implement Lockout Switch - The light

indicates that the Implement Lockoutswitch is active. The information isreceived by the Caterpillar Monitoringsystem from the Transmission ECM via

the CAT data link. The indicator lightsremain ON. The indicator light does not

flash.

Transmission System Status - Thelight indicates that one or more of thefunctions for the power train is not

working properly. The information isreceived by the Caterpillar Monitoringsystem from the Transmission ECM via

the CAT data link. The indicator lightsremain ON. The indicator light does not

flash.

Steering System Status - This light

indicates the warning level of thesteering system. The status is received

via the CAT data link.

Charge Pressure Status - Thislight indicates the warning

level of the hydrostatictransmission control. Thewarning light will come on inthree different situations. The

first situation has the followingconditions: The hydraulic oil

temperature is below −2 °C(28°F). The speed/direction

control lever is in the NEUTRAL position. The

charge pressure is below 150kPa (22 psi). The warning will

be cleared when the charge pressure rises above 220 kPa

(32 psi). The second situationhas the following conditions:The hydraulic oil temperatureis above −2 °C (28°F). The

speed/direction control lever is

in the NEUTRAL position. Thecharge pressure is below 310kPa (45 psi). The warning will





be cleared when the charge pressure rises above 380 kPa

(55 psi). The third situation hasthe following conditions: The

speed/direction control lever isin the NEUTRAL position. The

charge pressure is below 310kPa (45 psi). The warning will be cleared when the charge pressure rises above 1604 kPa

(233 psi).
