Trabajo para optar al titulo de magister La marcada invisibilización del joven en su accionar político y social por parte del Estado y la sociedad “adulta”, mostrándolo meramente como un actor potencial en la lógica mercantilista y política, bajo la figura de un irreverente sin sentido, ha originado que los espacios donde éste puede hacer sonar su voz y plasmar su actuar, se vean reducidos a lugares de esparcimiento y socialización, mediatizados por la llamada industria cultural, que más adelante servirán como plataforma para la adquisición de un estatus que se verá reflejado en la obtención del rótulo de buen o mal ciudadano.En respuesta, los jóvenes han decidido trabajar en vías alternas al discurso formal e institucional, que controla la participación política. Buscando y creando diversos modos de expresión que invaden y transforman los diferentes espacios de la ciudad, en escenarios multicolores de visibilización y participación, con un valor simbólico y comunicativo. Desde esta perspectiva, los procesos llevados a cabo han sido numerosos y prolíficos, generado una serie de discursos sobre los jóvenes que han integrado las distintas formas de su accionar al ejercicio público y político de la ciudadanía. Estos diversos modos abarcan varias de formas de comunicar y de interactuar con la comunidad, contemplando distintas formas de expresión; estéticas que se entrelazan diariamente en el entramado urbano. La estética y su lenguaje metafórico, además del arte que se constituye como uno de los espacios de la acción colectiva juvenil más utilizados por los jóvenes.En ese sentido, el objeto de estudio de la presente investigación serán las mediaciones educomunicativas entendidas como los sentidos, las significaciones, usos y apropiaciones generados en torno a los distintos dispositivos comunicativos, los cuales, son utilizadas por los movimientos sociales para contribuir a la construcción de sentido y nuevas formas de expresión, que se relacionan a través de elementos emocionales, proyectos políticos y expectativas personales, es decir las acciones colectivas, que agencian los grupos desde su condición juvenil, que a su vez trabajan desde el arte como su mecanismo de intervención en el espacio urbano. Dichos grupos son Nautilus un grupo de Danza contemporánea/Kalamo agrupación artística y cultural de la localidad La Candelaria y Ojo al Sancocho que es un colectivo de artes visuales de Ciudad Bolívar.Cabe resaltar que las mediaciones educomunicativas, no se enmarcan en espacios institucionalizados o tecnomediados, sino en espacios sociocomunitarios, en donde la creación y la expresión, se convierten en la excusa perfecta para la apropiación de saberes, trabajo autónomo y cooperativo. Es así que la presente tesis, nace a partir de distintos intereses de carácter intra y extrateórico, los cuales guían los objetivos, la problemática, la metodología y los resultados planteados.Los intereses intrateóricos, son aquellos que hacen referencia a diferentes inquietudes teóricas planteadas en la tesis, en primera medida el estudio de la acción colectiva juvenil, se muestra para el desarrollo académico de las ciencias sociales, como propicia para la generación de un conocimiento pertinente, ya que plantea un tema relevante en la investigación social, debido a las nuevos discursos académicos que buscan la integración de diversos actores que resultan esenciales en las transformaciones societales.Teniendo en cuenta, las perspectivas gnoseológicas y epistémicas del presente trabajo, se concibe la importancia para las ciencias sociales el acercarse a la acción colectiva juvenil desde el arte, como campo conceptual de análisis e interpretación, reconociéndolo como una de las principales fuentes investigación del cambio en el mundo humano. Además al investigar la relación entre la acción colectiva juvenil y las mediaciones, se está no solo generando un nuevo conocimiento para la investigación social y cualitativa, sino par
