Topic- Search Engine
A web search engine is a software system that is designed to search for information on the world wide web
It uses the keywords to search for documents that relate to these keys words and then put the result in order to relevance to the topic that searched for.

Search engines are important because with over8 billions, web pages available. It would be impossible to search engines that is specifically needed. That is why search engine are used to filter the information that is on the internet and transform it into result that each individual can access.

Types of Search Engine
Google began in january 1996 as a research project.
Founded by larry page and sergy brin
Most popular search engine.
Google pages include a button labeled “I’m Feeling lucky”.
When a user types in a search and click on the button the user will be taken directly to the first search engine.
AltaVista publicly launched as an internet search engine on December 15, 1995 at altavista.digital.com.
The name "AltaVista" was chosen in relation to the surroundings of their company at Palo Alto, California.
Paul Flaherty came up with the original idea, along with Louis Monier and Michael Burrows, who wrote the crawler and indexer, respectively.

search engines, first developed in 1994 by Dr. Michael L. Mauldin and a team of researchers at the Carnegie Mellon University Center for Machine Translation. Lycos' name comes from the Latin name for the wolf spider that is a hunter, actively stalking their prey.
