Cuando niña tuve una ídola: mi tía Adriana. Su imagen se me

cayó al descubrir que trabajó para Pinochet. Tengo un acceso

privilegiado y enfrentaré a mi tía para conocer los oscuros

secretos de la historia de mi país.

When I was a child I had an idol: My aunt Adriana. My

perception about her has fell apart when I found out that

she worked for Pinochet. I have privileged access and I’ll

face my aunt to know the dark secrets of my country's

history.

De niña tuve una ídola: mi tía Adriana. En el 2007 la tomaron

detenida y me enteré que en su juventud trabajó para la DINA,

policía secreta del dictador Pinochet. Tiempo después, ya en

democracia, se fugó del país mientras enfrentaba un proceso

judicial por el asesinato de un importante dirigente comunista.

Hoy mi tía vive una pesadilla. En Australia los residentes

chilenos piden su extradición y marchan en su contra. El caso

se ha vuelto mediático. No me di cuenta cómo me involucré en

su terrible pasado y ahora soy parte de su delirante presente.

Tengo un acceso privilegiado a los victimarios de la dictadura y

estoy dispuesta a llegar a las últimas consecuencias para

conocer la verdad y saber quién es realmente mi tía Adriana.

As a child I had an idol: my aunt Adriana. In 2007, she

was detained and I found out she worked for DINA in her

youth, the secret police of dictator Pinochet. Later,

already in democracy, she fled the country while facing a

judicial process for the murder of an important

communist leader. Now, my aunt is living a nightmare. In

Australia, the Chilean residents request their extradition

and march against her. The case has caused a media

uproar. I didn’t realize how I’m involved in her terrible

past and now I’m part of her raving present. I have

privileged access to the aggressors of dictatorship and I’m

willing to reach the ultimate consequences to know the

truth and to know who is really my aunt Adriana.

El PACTO DE ADRIANA

Lissette Orozco nació en Santiago de Chile en el año 1987. Es

directora, guionista y magister en cine documental.

Actualmente su opera prima "El Pacto de Adriana"

(largometraje documental) se estrena mundialmente en el 67º

Berlín International Film Festival en la sección Panorama.

Además la película en sus etapas de desarrollo ha sido ganador

de Corfo 2012 (Chile), Tribeca Film Institute 2015, mejor pitch

en DocsDF 2015 (México), entre muchos otros. Trabaja como

realizadora del docureality de TVN (Canal 7) “Match”. Es

asistente de dirección del documental “Lemebel” y “Matriz” de

la directora Joanna Reposi. Se ha desempeñado como

investigadora en la serie “Vidas en Riesgo” de Chilevisión

(Canal 11). Es asesora del proyecto documental “El último año”

(una escuela de sordos). Dirigió los cortometrajes

documentales: “Subsuelo”, “Vorágine” y “El día ideal”, todos

premiados en el Festival Nacional de los Derechos Humanos en

2014. Se desempeñó como docente en la Universidad UNIACC

y Diego Portales (Chile). Fue realizadora del docureality “4to

medio” de TVN (Canal 7). Fue asistente de dirección del

documental “La Mudanza” de Tatiana Lorca. Además autora

del guión y asistente de dirección del documental “Riu” (la

música ancestral de la Isla de Pascua) del director Pablo

Berthelón, entre otras obras.

Lissette Orozco was born in Santiago de Chile in 1987.

Director, screenwriter and Master in Documentary Film. Her

debut film "El Pacto de Adriana" (Adriana‟s pact) will premiere

at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival in the Panorama

section. In addition, the movie in its development stages, has

won Corfo 2012 (Chile), Tribeca Film Institute 2015, Best pitch

in DocsDF 2015 (Mexico), among others. She works as a

filmmaker on TVN‟s (National Televition) reality show "Match".

Is assistant director on Joanna Reposi„s documentaries:

“Lemebel" and "Matriz". She has been involved in research for

the TV serie "Vidas en Riesgo" of Chilevisión. Also is a

consultant to the documentary project "El último año" (School

for hearing impaired people). She directed the short

documentary films: "Subsuelo", "Vorágine" and "El día Ideal", all

awarded in the National Festival of Human Rights in 2014. She

worked as a teacher at the University UNIACC and Diego

Portales (Chile). Orozco also directed the reality show "4to

Medio" for TVN (National Television) and assisted Tatiana Lorca

on her documentary "La Mudanza”. In addition she is assistant

wrote the script of the documentary "Riu" (Easter Island

ancestral music) by Paul Berthelón.
