    • Elementos ensamblados entre sí, una vez que han sido manufacturados previamente en fábrica o en otro sitio cercano a la obra (moldeados, endurecidos, etc.).

    PREFABRICADOS

    • Es la utilización de tecnologías que sustituyen la habilidad del artesano por la de una máquina.

    INDUSTRIALIZACION

    • La producción se lleva a cabo en fábricas (fijas o móviles) propiamente dichas o bien a pie de obra.

    FABRICACION

    • El montaje en obra puede realizarse con grúas o en forma manual, según las características de los elementos prefabricados

    MONTAJE

    • Todo material natural o elaborado, que se emplea en la construcción, por ejemplo: cemento, arena, etc.

    MATERIAL DE CONSTRUCCION

    • Material de construcción de sección definida y longitud variable, producido generalmente en forma continua, por ejemplo: perfiles, cables, etc.

    ELEMENTO SEMI TERMINADO

    • Material de construcción de forma y tamaño que tiene 3 dimensiones determinadas, por ejemplo: mampuestos, baldosas, etc.

    ELEMENTO SIMPLE

    • Producto obtenido por la elaboración de uno o más materiales, elementos simples o semis terminados y cuyo tamaño, forma y características funcionales son definidos, por ejemplo: muros, tabiques, etc.

    ELEMENTO COMPUESTO

    • El que constituido por un conjunto de elementos semis terminados, simples, compuestos o combinación de ellos, tiene una función específica diferenciable en la construcción y posee características funcionales propias, por ejemplo: estructura portante, mampostería, etc.

    CONJUNTO FUNCIONAL

    • Producto de la construcción conformado con una unidad determinada, que posee o adquiere medidas definidas en las 3 direcciones; son todas u cada una de las partes de la construcción: elementos semis terminados, elementos simples, elementos compuestos y conjuntos funcionales.

    1 • Todo vínculo debe ser debidamente estudiado.

    2 • Debe procurarse la estanquidad del vínculo sólo si los elementos contiguos son estancos

    3 • Los vínculos deben ubicarse en los sitios de menor exposición a las solicitaciones externas.

    4 • La estanquidad debe practicarse por el lado expuesto.

    5 • Si la obstrucción se realiza mediante varios dispositivos, la solución resultante debe formar un todo coherente. (Por ejemplo,

    deben de estar perfectamente resueltos los cruces entre juntas horizontales y verticales).

    6 • Los productos de sellado y cierre en modo alguno han de pretender impedir los movimientos sino que han de ser capaces de

    acompañarlos

    7 • Se recomienda prescindir de productos y materiales que no cumplan la condición anterior.

    8 • Es necesario asegurar la calidad de la aplicación, razón por la que hay que asegurar un estricto control de calidad de la

    ejecución.

    9 • No existen soluciones universales, pero todo vínculo tiene unas soluciones mejores que otras posibles.

    10 • Ha de existir coordinación entre proyectistas, suministradores y aplicadores en busca de soluciones durables y funcionales.
