Teams of up to 6

At least half of team must be currently enrolledat Northwestern

1st Round Business plan abstract

Semi-finals Round 3 minute elevator pitch + 7minutes of Q&A

Final Round 15 minute presentation + 15minutes of Q&A

Judged primarily upon likelihood of businesssuccess

Additional criteria:

Creativity of opportunity and business concept Appropriateness of the strategy

Reasonableness of the plan for financing thebusiness

Judges - panel of entrepreneurs, early-stageinvestors, faculty, and Chicago-area businesscommunity members.

Prizes

Total cash prizes of $30,000 withsubstantial grand prize. Prizes expected

to grow to at least $50,000.

Substantial in-kind gifts including designexpertise, executive advice, and mediaexposure.

Drawn from Northwestern Universityscommunity of entrepreneurs, VCs, and faculty

Will serve as a sounding board for ideas
