La muestra la conforma una serie de 10 fotografías digitales tomadas por Patricio Chamorro Encalada en la Regióndel Maule.

Las fotografías provienen de distintas locaciones, pero todas ellas muestran situaciones similares y reiterativas.

Son imágenes constituyentes de deseos, que dan un rumbo particular y diferente al pensamiento del autor. Es un asalto

transformador que se transforma en un imperativo creativo, que busca plasmar mediante este trabajo una diversidad de

sensaciones y emociones provocadas en presencia de estos espacios.

Se observa en aquellas locaciones vestigios, abandono, antigüedad, humedad, abstracción, texturas, color, formas

que estimulan el pensamiento mediante la experimentación de aquellas cualidades, que crean una multiplicidad de sensaciones,

donde el artista siente un fuerte llamado a reconfigurar mediante el acto artístico estos lóbregos lugares.

El filtro de color puesto en la cabeza de la sujeto, colorea y tiñe la percepción que ella tiene del entorno,

descontextualizando la locación transformándola en ficción. Así la obra interviene la experiencia que el observador de la

fotografía tiene, poseyendo la configuración de lo externo, demandándole cuestionamiento impaciente a la percepción gratuita

que este tiene de la realidad. Transformando la percepción del espectador en acto de ficción que se aloja en el deseo del

artista, un deseo que siempre es imagen y que, por tanto, tiene su propia gramática, su propia lógica, que va en la búsqueda

mediante el lenguaje artístico, de la gramática y lógica que es propia del deseo del otro. Generando una interpelación dialogante

entre el artista y el observador.

El deseo de la modelo, es transformar la imagen percibida al antojo de su deseo, en un cuadro ficticio e imaginativo.

Ella requiere subyugar la realidad exterior a su antojo configurando junto al deseo del artista un capricho plasmado en fotografías.

La sujeto, añade en este trabajo que su mirada es cerebral y que cada color de filtro es una nueva sensación que

connota y que transforman la imagen descontextualizándola de estos lugares. Afirma que es un valor agregado mirar y obturar

imaginando que ella es una “cámara fotográfica”, su deseo y pasión se transforma en lo que ella propone “la vida es un sueño”.

Realizar estas fotografías, complementada con filtros de colores, es en síntesis, la forma en que se manifiesta el

deseo por una representación de lo real en ficticio. Acto artístico que transforma al antojo del deseo, la realidad captada

metamorfoseándola en otra cosa, una realidad para el deseo.

Deseo que es connatural al hombre en su constante hambre de crear.

This body of work consists on a series of 10 digital pictures taken by Patricio Chamorro Encalada in MauleRegion.

The pictures are from different locations, but they all show similar and reiterative situations. They are images made

out of desires, which take a distinctive and different route from the authors’ thought. It is a transformative assault that becomes

a creative imperative, aiming to show through this work a diverse range of sensations and emotions that were provoked in the

presence of these spaces.

In those locations, the viewer can observe remains, abandonment, past, humidity, abstraction, textures, color,

shapes that stimulate thinking throughout experimentation of these qualities, creating multiple sensations, where the artist feels

a strong call to reshape those gloomy places through the artistic act.

The color filter placed on the subject’s head colors and dyes the perception that she has of the environment, taking

the location out of context and transforming it into fiction. In this way, the work intervenes the viewer's experience of the

photograph, acquiring an external configuration, demanding for an impatient questioning to the lose perception that he has of

reality. Transforming the viewer’s perception into an act of fiction that resides in the artist’s desire, a desire that is always an

image and, therefore, has its own grammar, its own logic, that goes into a search throughout an artistic language, of grammar

and logic that are typical of the other’s desire. Creating a dialogic interpellation between the artist and the observer.

The model’s desire is to transform the image perceived at her whim, within a fictitious and imaginative framework.

She has to subdue the external reality at her whim forming, next to the artist’s desire, a capriccio that has been transferred

into photographs.

The subject adds in this work that her view is cerebral and that each color filter is a new sensation that connotes

and transforms the image, taking it out of context from its original place. She states that there is an added value when she looks

and obturates imagining that she is a “camera”, her desire and passion are transformed into what she proposes “life is a dream”

As a synthesis, to take these photographs, complemented with color filters, is the way in which desire is expressed

through the representation of what is real as a fiction. Artistic act that transforms the desire’s whim, caught reality being

transformed into something else, a reality for the desire.

Desire that is inherent to man in his constant hunger to create.
