La palabra "misterio" puede tener diferentes significados en nuestra mente. Si estamos leyendo un buen “misterio", nos referimos a una historia en la que debemos prestar atención por las pistas que nos ayudarán a resolver el caso o rompecabezas. A veces, significa algo desconocido o inaccesible para nuestra comprensión. ¿Quién no ha dicho "¡esto es un misterio para mí!"? con esto queremos decir que simplemente no entendemos. "misterio" en el sentido bíblico y en lo referente a nuestra fe católica es algo diferente. Aquí "misterio" se refiere a cosas que están "escondidos en Dios, que no pueden ser conocidos si no son revelados desde lo alto" (Catecismo nº 237) El Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica enseña: "El misterio de la Santísima Trinidad es el misterio central de la fe y de la vida cristiana” (Catecismo nº 234). La Santísima Trinidad no es un misterio que puede ser resuelto después de seguir una serie de pistas ni algo que siempre permanecerá oculto. Este gran misterio de nuestra fe es Dios revelándose a su pueblo para que podamos adorarlo y vivir nuestras vidas por Él. Todo lo que hacemos como Cristianos lo hacemos en el nombre del Dios Trinitario. En el bautismo, por ejemplo, iniciamos una nueva vida en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. Vivimos la celebración de la Eucaristía en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo. No hay nada en la vida Cristiana profesado o practicado que no refleje la Santísima Trinidad, es decir, al mismo tiempo es un Dios, en tres diferentes Personas. Porque la fe y la vida Cristiana emanan de la Trinidad, hace que tenga sentido que la misma Iglesia refleje la Trinidad en su identidad y misión. La Iglesia es un cuerpo, pero muchos miembros, cada uno de nosotros somos distintos, tenemos nuestro lugar en la Iglesia y tenemos nuestro papel a desempeñar, pero compartimos la comunidad de los fieles y, juntos, somos una sola Iglesia. La Santísima Trinidad es una comunidad de vida y amor y fuimos creados por Dios para compartirlo y experimentarlo entre nosotros. Al adorar a Dios, al Padre, al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo en este Domingo de la Trinidad, oremos para que podamos reflejar este misterio central de nuestra fe viviendo como un solo cuerpo, muchos miembros en unidad como Pueblo de Dios.
The word “mystery” can bring different things to mind. If we are reading a good “mystery,” we mean a story where we need to pay attention for clues that will help us solve the puzzle. Sometimes, we mean something unknown or inaccessible to our understanding. Who hasn’t said “well, that is a mystery to me!” by which we mean we just don’t get it. “Mystery” in the biblical sense and as it pertains to our Catholic faith is something different. Here “mystery” refers to things that are “hidden in God, which can never be known unless they are revealed by God” (Catechism no. 237) The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches: “The mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of Christian faith and life (no. 234).” The Most Holy Trinity is not a mystery to be solved after chasing clues nor is it something that we must forever remain clueless about. This great mystery of our faith is God revealing himself to his People so that we may worship him and live our lives for him. Everything we do as Christians we do in the name of the Trinitarian God. In baptism, for example, we enter into new life in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We enter into the celebration of the Eucharist in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. There is nothing in the Christian life that is professed or practiced that does not reflect the Most Holy Trinity—one God, three Persons. God is simultaneously one and many. Because the Christian faith and life flows out of the Trinity, it would make sense that the Church herself reflects the Trinity in her identity and mission. The Church is one body, but many members. Each of us is distinct, have our place in the Church, and have our role to carry out, yet we share in the community of the faithful and, together, are one Church. The Most Holy Trinity is a community of life and love and we were created by God to share in that and experience it amongst ourselves. As we worship God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit on this Trinity Sunday, let us pray that we may reflect this central mystery of our faith by living as one body, many members in unity as the People of God.

Coffee of the Cross y Café de la Cruz , es un proyecto sin fines de lucro de la Diócesis
de Matagalpa, Nicaragua en conjunto con la Comunidad de Franciscanos Frailes de
la Renovación. El objetivo es ofrecerle un café fresco enviado directamente de
Nicaragua a su puerta. Todos los ingresos irán a financiar el mantenimiento y
desarrollo de la Montaña de la Paz: un santuario único de la paz y la conservación de
la naturaleza, donde cada año miles de personas acuden en peregrinación para

El 8 de julio el Padre Larry estará guiando el último tour en español
de nuestra Iglesia y Capilla.
No pierdas la oportunidad de saber qué Santos aparecen en los
vitrales y por qué, porqué el baptisterio fue colocado allí en el centro
y porqué no tenemos pequeñas fuentes de agua bendita en cada
puerta lateral, también el porqué llamamos a la Capilla “Santa
Clara” y el significado de cada vitral de la Capilla.
El tour durará aproximadamente una hora.
Los invitamos este viernes,16 de junio a las 6:30 pm en la Capilla de
Santa Clara para recibir el Sacramento de Unción de Enfermos.
El sacramento de Unción de Enfermos se impartirá a personas con
una enfermedad que los mantenga en peligro de muerte o que
tengan una cirugía próximamente. También se da la bendición a las
parejas que esperan un bebe y a los bebes que acaban de nacer.
