Para conocer Holbox la ruta es sencilla. Tomar el camino que lleve hasta el pueblo de Chiquilá, de ahí, se puede llegar a Holbox mediante ferry. Hay salidas diarias tanto para embarcaciones de pasajeros, como para las de mayor tamaño que permiten llevar el automóvil.
Getting to Holbox is easy. Take the road to the town of Chiquila. From there, you can get to Holbox by ferry, on one of the many daily departures to the island in vessels for passengers and on bigger boats, which allow to bring your car to the island.

Cabo Catoche es la mejor opción para esnorquelear y nadar entre peces multicolores, vegetación marina y hasta delfines y tortugas.
Para gustos lejos del agua y más culturales, la Iglesia Boca, invita a presenciar el nacimiento de la religión en México, ya que se dice fue la primer iglesia católica en América Latina. Es un pequeña isla cubierta de manglar en la laguna Yalahau, donde existe una gran diversidad de aves (incluyendo algunas especies en peligro de extinción) y
otros animales salvajes conviviendo en su hábitat natural. La isla tiene puntos de observación y caminos creados especialmente para disfrutar mejor de la experiencia.
Holbox es anfitrión del Festival Internacional de Arte Público que se celebra cada febrero. El evento presenta a artistas locales e internacionales creando
una serie de deslumbrantes murales.
En octubre, el Festival Gastronómico de Holbox presenta lo mejor de la cocina de la isla a los visitantes de todo el mundo. Es durante este evento, que los chefs preparan los mejores y más extravagantes platillos para deleitarse en este festival de talla internacional.
It’s a small island covered with mangrove on the Yalahau lagoon, where a wide array of birds (including endangered species) and other wild animals live in their natural habitat. The island has observation spots and roads created specially to enrich the visit.
Holbox is the host of the International Public Art Festival, which is celebrated every February. This event exhibits local and international artists creating a series of astonishing murals.
