INSTRUCCIONES PARA CUMPLIMENTAR EL LEARNING AGREEMENT ON-LINE La Universidad de Alicante ha puesto en marcha un nuevo sistema, en el que los estudiantes pueden cumplimentar el Acuerdo de Aprendizaje/ Learning Agreement en línea a través de la intranet de la Universidad de Alicante, Campus Virtual. Las propuestas se envían a los coordinadores académicos quienes las aprueban electrónicamente (en caso de que la propuesta no sea aceptable, entonces se avisa a los estudiantes para que la modifiquen). Una vez aprobada la propuesta, los estudiantes podrán descargar el Learning Agreement en formato PDF, el cual estará firmado tanto por el Coordinador Departamental (firma electrónica) como por el Coordinador Institucional (firma digital). El nuevo sistema on-line permitirá tener el Learning Agreement firmado por la Universidad de Alicante en cuestión de días. Por otra parte, el nuevo sistema on-line detecta tanto el Área de Estudio en el que el estudiante ha sido nominado (de acuerdo con el Acuerdo Bilateral) como el período de intercambio, de forma que el estudiante sólo pueda seleccionar las asignaturas pertenecientes a los programas de estudio de la Universidad de Alicante ofrecidos en dicha Área de Estudio y semestre/s en concreto. La oferta académica de la Universidad de Alicante está sujeta a cambios de última hora. La nueva herramienta para cumplimentar el Learning Agreement on-line no es un sistema de búsqueda de información académica ni de matriculación en los cursos seleccionados. INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING IN THE LEARNING AGREEMENT ON-LINE The University of Alicante has launched a new system, in which the students can fill in the Learning Agreement on-line through the intranet of the University of Alicante, the Virtual Campus. Their proposals are sent to our departmental coordinators who approve them electronically (in case the proposal is not acceptable, then the students are told to modify it). Once the proposal has been approved, the students will be able to download the Learning Agreement in PDF format, which will be signed by both the Departmental Coordinator (electronic signature) and the Institutional Coordinator (digital signature). The new on-line system will make it possible to have the Learning Agreement signed by the University of Alicante in a matter of days. On the other hand, the new on-line system detects both the study Subject Area in which the student has been nominated (according to the Bilateral Agreement) and the period of exchange, so that the student can only select subjects belonging to the study programmes of the University of Alicante offered in such particular subject area and semester/s. The academic offer of the University of Alicante is subject to last minute changes. The new system for completing the Learning Agreement on-line is not a searching tool for academic information nor registration in the selected subjects. 1. Usa tu navegador para entrar en la página principal de la Universidad de Alicante www.ua.es (1) y haz clic en “UACloud CV” (2)

2. Usa tu dirección de correo electrónico ‘XXXX@alu.ua.es’(1), tu contraseña (2) y pulsa el botón “Entrar” (3) para acceder al Campus Virtual.

2. Use your e-mail with format ‘XXXX@alu.ua.es’ (1), password (2) and click the “Entrar” button (3) to enter on your Campus Virtual.

3. En la aplicación Programas de movilidad, pulsa el botón “Entrar” (1).

5. Puedes ver ahora la pantalla para cumplimentar tu Propuesta de Learning Agreement. Los ‘Datos Personales’(1) y los ‘Datos Académicos’(2) aparecen por defecto y no se pueden modificar (observa que aquí puedes ver el nombre de tu Coordinador Académico en la UA) (3).

5. Now you can see the screen to complete your Learning Agreement Proposal. The ‘Student’s Personal Data’ (1) and ‘Academic Data’ (2) appear by default and cannot be changed (notice that here you can see the name of your UA Academic/Departmental Coordinator) (3).

6. Selecciona el Curso de Lengua Española que te interese (optativo). La Universidad de Alicante subvenciona un curso de español para los estudiantes de programas de intercambio (Convenios Bilaterales). El Curso de Lengua Española tiene una duración de 60 horas y vale 6 ECTS.

6. Select the Spanish Language Course you are interested in (optional). The UA subsidizes one Spanish language course for those students coming through Exchange programmes (Bilateral agreements). The Spanish Language Course lasts 60 hours and it is worth 6 ECTS.

7. Los estudiantes pueden hacer un segundo curso de español pagándolo íntegramente. No

obstante, los estudiantes pueden obtener un máximo de 6 ECTS por todos los Cursos de Lengua Española hechos durante su intercambio y, por ello, el programa no permite seleccionar más de un curso, tal como se ve en la imagen siguiente.

7. The students can do a second Spanish course on paying basis. However, a maximum of 6 ECTS can be obtained for the Spanish Language Courses done during their exchange and, for that reason, the system does not allow to select more than one course, as you can see on the picture below.

8. Para seleccionar las asignaturas oficiales que vas a estudiar en la UA, debes primero elegir el Plan de Estudios en el apartado ‘Estudios Ofertados’. Puedes únicamente elegir de entre los estudios que aparecen en el desplegable. La Universidad de Alicante ha adaptado su sistema de créditos al ECTS. La carga de trabajo normal para estudiante semestrales es de 30 ECTS o de 3-5 cursos semestrales.

8. In order to select the official subjects you are going to study at the UA, first you have to choose the Study Programme under ‘Academic Offer’. You can only choose among the study programmes available on the drop-down menu. The University of Alicante has adapted its credit system to the ECTS. The normal workload for one-semester students is 30 ECTS, or 3-5 courses a semester.

9. Tras seleccionar el Plan de Estudio (1), haz clic en el botón buscar (2) para que aparezcan todas sus asignaturas en el apartado ‘Asignaturas Ofertadas’. Las asignaturas están ordenadas por número de código. Para añadir una asignatura pulsa el icono (3).

9. After selecting the Study Programme (1), click on the search button a (2), all subjects belonging to it appear under ‘Subjects Offered’. The subjects are ordered by their code number. To add a subject to the learning agreement, click on icon (3).

10. Las asignaturas escogidas aparecen en el apartado ‘Asignaturas Seleccionadas’ (1) (y desaparecen de ‘Asignaturas Ofertadas’ (2)). Para borrar una asignatura seleccionada debes pulsar en el icono (3). La carga docente debe estar entre 18 y 30 ECTS por semestre.

10. The subjects chosen now appear under ‘Selected Subjects’ (1) (and disappear from ‘Subjects Offered’ (2)). To remove a selected subject, you should click on the icon (3). The workload must be between 18 and 30 ECTS each semester.

11. Si quieres añadir asignaturas de otro Plan de Estudios, elige el nuevo programa en el desplegable y sigue el procedimiento descrito en los pasos 8 y 9.

11. If you want to add subjects belonging to another Study Programme, select the new programme on the drop-down menu as described on steps 8 and 9.

Puedes buscar una asignatura concreta si conoces su código, escribiéndolo en el cuadro de diálogo “Buscar” (1), y tras pulsar el botón de búqueda (2), la asignatura aparecerá en el apartado “Asignaturas Ofertadas” (3). Si no apareciese (4), prueba a hacer la búsqueda sin seleccionar ningún plan de estudios (5). El código se buscará en todos los planes de estudio que se te ofertan. Si sigue sin aparecer nada, significa que esa asignatura no se te oferta.

You can look for a specific subject if you know the subject code. Type it on the ‘Find’ field (1), then click on the search button (2), and the subject will appear under “Subjects Offered” (3). If the subject does not appear (4), you can try again without selecting any study programm (5). This time the code will be searched in all your offered study programs. If nothing is found, it means that this subject is not offered to you.

También puedes buscar por palabras clave de al menos 3 letras de longitud en lugar de por código tal como se explica arriba.

Also you can search by key words of at least 3 letters of length instead of by code as it is explained above.

12. Pulsa ‘Enviar/Send’(1) para enviar tu Propuesta de Learning Agreement al Coordinador Académico de la Universidad de Alicante. Se mostrará el mensaje que aparece en la imagen (2).

12. Click on the ‘Enviar/Send’ button (1) in order to send your Learning Agreement Proposal to the Departmental Coordinator of the University of Alicante. This message (2) will be shown.

13. Cuando el Coordinador dé contestación, recibirás un e-mail diciendo si tu propuesta de acuerdo de aprendizaje ha sido aceptada:

14. Si tu propuesta no ha sido aceptada, deberás leer las observaciones del coordinador en el recuadro en rojo de tu Learning Agreement online, eliminar o añadir asignaturas siguiendo sus indicaciones, y volverlo a enviar tal como se indica en el paso 11.

14. If your proposal has not been accepted, you will have to read the remarks of the coordinator in the red square of your LA online, then eliminate/add subjects accordingly and resend it as described on step 11

15.- Tras su aprobación, puedes guardar o imprimir el documento del Learning Agreement (formato pdf) desde el Campus Virtual, con la firma digital del coordinador UA. Pulsando el botón “Propuesta/Proposal” (ver imágenes siguientes) (1).

15. Once it is approved, you will be able to print or save your digitally signed LA (in pdf format) from your Virtual Campus, by clicking on the “Propuesta/Proposal” button (see image below) (1).

16. Si el acuerdo de aprendizaje ha sido aceptado, el estudiante puede generar un documento pdf firmado digitalmente desde su Campus virtual.

Nótese la cadena alfanumérica que identifica al learning agreement en nuestro sistema y las firmas digitales de los coordinadores institucional y académico.

16. If the Learning Agreement has been accepted, the student can generate a digitally signed pdf document in their Virtual Campus.

Notice the alphanumeric array which identifies univocally each LA on the system, and the digital signatures of the academic and institutional coordinators.
