Lea cuidadosamente las instrucciones de uso.Consérvelas en un lugar seguro para posteriores consultas.

Antes de conectar su almohadilla, compruebe que el voltaje de su red eléctrica sea idéntico al indicado en la etiqueta de la misma o en la impresión plástica grabada sobre el cuerpo de la almohadilla. En las que incorporan un alimentador o adaptador de red, comprue-be que el voltaje de su red eléctrica corresponde al indicado en la etiqueta del alimentador. En estas almohadillas, utilizar únicamente el alimentador suministrado, evitando intercambiarlo con el de otros aparatos.

En el caso de almohadillas con mando de control desconectable, uti-lizar únicamente el mando de control suministrado con la almohadi-lla. No intercambiar con otros aparatos.

Para el buen uso y funcionamiento de la almohadilla, usarla sin do-blar evitando la formación y el planchado de pliegues. No insertar alfileres, ni agujas u otros objetos metálicos punzantes. No cubrir la misma con objetos ni colocarlos en su parte superior durante su almacenaje.

No utilizar la almohadilla si estuviera húmeda o mojada. No la su-merja nunca bajo el agua. Para su limpieza proceder según el apar-tado de conservación de este manual.

Personas inválidas, disminuídas, insensibles al calor o niños no de-ben usar la almohadilla sin vigilancia directa. Tampoco debe usarse bajo los efectos del alcohol, somníferos, sedantes o estupefacientes. No utilice la almohadilla para calentar animales. En caso de que us-ted utilice un marcapasos u otros dispositivos cardiovasculares, y a pesar de que el campo electromagnético generado por esta almohadi-lla es extremadamente bajo, le recomendamos consulte siempre con su médico especialista antes de usar el producto.

El uso prolongado de la almohadilla a máxima potencia es suscepti-ble de provocar quemaduras en la piel. Cuando la almohadilla vaya a ser utilizada durante un periodo prolongado, por ejemplo cuando se duerme, los controles deberán ajustarse como se recomienda en este manual para uso continuo (modo temperatura 1).

Este aparato no está previsto para su uso médico en hospitales.

Es importante que el cable de conexión no esté enrollado o cruzado sobre la almohadilla durante su uso. No tirar del mismo para desen-chufarlo ni usarlo como asa.

Examinar la almohadilla con frecuencia, incluyendo el mando regu-lador y el cable flexible, con objeto de detectar posibles señales de desgaste o daño. En caso de aparecer tales señales, no use el produc-to y acuda a un servicio técnico autorizado.

En caso de uso incorrecto o manipulación indebida de la almohadi-lla, ésta quedará fuera de garantía; para su reparación acudir única-mente a un servicio técnico autorizado por el fabricante.

CARACTERÍSTICAS BÁSICAS Varias funciones adicionales han sido incorporadas en esta nueva ge-neración de mandos de control exclusivos de la nueva e innovadora línea de almohadillas ergonómicas DAGA.

MODOS DE TRABAJO

Se ofrecen al usuario 2 modos de trabajo:

a. Modo Libre: El regulador funciona ininterrumpidamente en la posi-ción de temperatura seleccionada por el usuario.

b. Modo Paro Automático: El regulador activa el funcionamiento de la almohadilla, en la posición de temperatura y durante el tiempo selec-cionados por el usuario. Trascurrido este tiempo, el regulador desco-necta automáticamente la almohadilla. Se dispone de 3 tiempos de funcionamiento distintos a elegir: 45, 60 y 90 minutos.

REDUCCIÓN AUTOMÁTICA DE TEMPERATURA

Para evitar al usuario posibles riesgos derivados de permanecer de-masiado tiempo en contacto con la almohadilla a una temperatura elevada, el regulador supervisa constantemente el funcionamiento así como la temperatura de la almohadilla, interviniendo en caso ne-cesario, para reducir su temperatura. Esta reducción automática de temperatura tiene lugar transcurridas aproximadamente 2h de fun-cionamiento continuo a temperatura elevada.

AUTOSTOP DE SEGURIDAD AUTOMÁTICO

Para evitar al usuario posibles riesgos derivados de dejar inadvertida-mente la almohadilla en funcionamiento por un tiempo prolongado, se ha incorporado como característica de serie, un Autostop automá-tico de seguridad, que se activa transcurridas 8h de funcionamiento ininterrumpido, sin que el usuario haya actuado sobre el teclado de control del regulador. Tras activarse este Autostop de seguridad, la almohadilla queda desconectada de la alimentación, y la pantalla de control indica esta circunstancia permaneciendo encendido el LED color ámbar indicador de Autostop.

Para salir del modo Autostop, basta pulsar una tecla cualquiera en el teclado de control. Entonces el regulador pasa al modo establecido por defecto (modo libre, nivel de temperatura 1).

MODO DE EMPLEO

1) Conecte la almohadilla a una toma de red adecuada. En los mo-delos con alimentador incorporado, conecte en primer lugar el cable de salida del alimentador a la almohadilla, y en segundo lugar, en-chufe el alimentador a la toma de red.

2) Para proceder al encendido, tome el mando regulador y accione el interruptor deslizante lateral de encendido/apagado, situándolo en la posición ”I“. Inmediatamente el mando de control electrónico inicia una rápida comprobación para detectar posibles anomalías indicado en la pan-talla a través de un barrido de LED’s, tras la cual, queda configurado en el modo de trabajo por defecto: LED 1 encendido (nivel mínimo de temperatura) y modo libre (ningún tiempo seleccionado).

3) Proceda al ajuste del nivel de temperatura deseado, entre los 4 niveles posibles, pulsando repetidamente la tecla de selección de temperatura . Desde este momento, la almohadilla funciona nor-malmente en modo Libre. En ese modo tan solo permanece encendi-do en la pantalla de control el LED rojo indicador de la temperatura seleccionada, permaneciendo apagados todos los demás.

4) Puede seleccionar un tiempo de Paro Automático en cualquier instante, pulsando tantas veces como desee la tecla .

Los LEDs verdes indican en todo momento el tiempo de funcio-namiento preseleccionado. Si no permanece encendido ningún LED verde de tiempo de funcionamiento, se vuelve al modo Libre. Una vez transcurrido el tiempo de funcionamiento preseleccionado, la almohadilla queda desconectada, permaneciendo en la pantalla de control todos los LEDs de temperatura apagados, y tan solo en-cendido el LED indicador del tiempo de funcionamiento preselec-cionado. Pulse cualquier tecla para volver inmediatamente al modo Libre.

5) Para apagar la almohadilla, accione de nuevo el interruptor des-lizante lateral de encendido/apagado, situándolo en la posición “0”.

Al inicio del funcionamiento de su almohadilla, le recomendamos que sitúe el regulador en posición máxima (nivel 4 de temperatura) durante 20 minutos, para gozar de un calentamiento rápido. A con-tinuación reduzca la temperatura hasta obtener el calor deseado. Se aconseja que la posición máxima de temperatura (nivel 4), se utilice únicamente durante los primeros 20 min de funcionamiento, con el propósito de obtener un calentamiento más rápido de la al-mohadilla; No obstante, de no respetar esta recomendación, y como medida de seguridad, la almohadilla reducirá automáticamente su temperatura transcurridas aproximadamente 2h de funcionamiento ininterrumpido.

Sobre este particular, le recordamos que el efecto beneficioso del calor suministrado por la almohadilla no precisa de altas tempera-turas y un exceso de calor continuado sobre la piel puede provocar quemaduras. Las posiciones de temperatura más elevadas del re-gulador sólo deben utilizarse el tiempo necesario para alcanzar una temperatura confortable, tras lo cual, se recomienda ir disminuyendo gradualmente la temperatura a una posición inferior.

Tal como se ha indicado anteriormente, tras un uso prolongado de la almohadilla en los niveles 3 y 4 de temperatura, si Ud. percibe que la temperatura disminuye, no se trata en ningún caso de una posible avería; sino por el contrario, esto significa que se ha activado el sis-tema automático de control de tiempo a temperatura elevada, incor-porado en las almohadillas Daga, para evitar una excesiva aplicación de calor sobre la piel.

En el momento de guardar la almohadilla, déjela enfriar antes de do-blarla y no la almacene apilando objetos encima.

GUÍA DE RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

PROBLEMA SOLUCIÓN

La pantalla de control del mando no se enciende al accionar el interruptor lateral de Encendido / Apagado

Revise que existe tensión en la toma de red utilizada, y que la almohadilla se encuentra correctamente enchufada en ella.

En el caso de almohadillas con alimentador incorporado, revise también la conexión entre el alimentador y la almohadilla.

Asegúrese a su vez que el interruptor lateral de Encendido/Apagado se encuentra en la posición “I”.

La almohadilla no calienta

Puede haberse activado el stop de tiempo preseleccionado, o bien, del mismo modo, puede haberse activado el Autostop de seguridad. Verifique que la almohadilla se encuentra funcionando, comprobando que alguno de los LEDs rojos se encuentra encendido. En caso de duda pulse cualquiera de las teclas para volver de nuevo al Modo Libre, o bien apague y vuelva a encender el botón lateral ON/OFF.

Tras el encendido, la pantalla de control no se configura en el modo Libre, nivel de temperatura 1, y la almohadilla no calienta.

El mando de control puede haber encontrado alguna anomalía en el arranque, y por seguridad bloquea el funcionamiento de la almohadilla.

Apague y vuelva a encender el mando de control. Si esta incidencia persiste, acuda a nuestro servicio técnico autorizado.

Tras el encendido, la pantalla de control se configura corretamente en el modo Libre, nivel de temperatura 1, pero la almohadilla no calienta.

Si no aprecia el calor de la almohadilla, cúbrala con una manta, toalla o paño grueso, coloque el regulador en la posición máxima y espere 45 minutos. Si sigue sin percibir calor acuda a nuestro servicio técnico autorizado. No son fiables comprobaciones efectuadas con la almohadilla al descubierto o al aire libre, ya que puede originar apreciaciones erróneas del calor.

PROBLEMA SOLUCIÓN

La almohadilla calienta poco

En caso de que el calor percibido se considere insuficiente en su posición máxima, recomendamos colocar la almohadilla directamente en contacto con la piel, cubriendo el lado opuesto de la almohadilla con una toalla o prenda similar, impidiendo así que parte del calor se disipe en el aire.

La pantalla de control muestra una información incomprensible.Los LEDs parpadean indefinidamente.

El mando de control puede haber encontrado alguna anomalía, y por seguridad bloquea el funcionamiento de la almohadilla. Apague y vuelva a encender el mando de control. Si el comportamiento anormal persiste, acuda a nuestro servicio técnico autorizado.

Las almohadillas alcanzan temperaturas entre 65º y 75º C en su po-sición máxima. Este dato es orientativo. Las mediciones se efectúan en condiciones de laboratorio, según procedimiento descrito en la norma UNE-EN 60335-2-17.

TERMOAPLICACIONESALMOHADILLA NUCA-CERVICAL – NC yALMOHADILLA NUCA-CERVICAL-DORSAL – NCDEl cansancio originado por la actividad diaria, se refleja en el orga-nismo en forma de contracturas, dolores cervicales,...Los distintos esfuerzos físicos realizados, se acumulan en las zonas más sensi-bles, especialmente en la nuca, vértebras superiores y zona lumbar, originando malestar general y en los casos más agudos dolores que pueden llegar a ser persistentes.Con las almohadillas NC y NCD, DAGA ofrece un sistema eficaz para combatir de forma efectiva el dolor localizado en la nuca, vértebras cervicales y parte superior de la espalda, se trata de los puntos más frecuentemente sometidos a este tipo de dolencias y tensiones mus-culares.

El modelo NC, se coloca alrededor del cuello sujetándolo con el cierre de velcro que incorpora la funda textil, de forma que quede situado aproximadamente bajo la barbilla.

Para la colocación del modelo NCD, la funda textil incorpora dos sistemas de su-jeción: uno con cierre de velcro situado en su parte superior, para fijarlo alrededor del cuello y otro de cintas situado en su parte inferior para abrocharlas a la cintura.

ALMOHADILLA ESPALDA TOTAL – ET

La almohadilla espalda total está indicada para su uso en la zona de la espalda, hombros y tórax.

La espalda es una zona del cuerpo con poca sensibilidad al calor, por lo que se debe controlar el tiempo de aplicación a temperaturas ele-vadas. Las posiciones de temperatura alta del regulador sólo deben utilizarse el tiempo necesario para alcanzar una temperatura confor-table, reduciéndola después a una posición inferior.

Para facilitar su adaptación a la zona hombros-espalda, la funda de la almohadilla está provista de dos sujeciones de velcro en la par-te superior para los hombros y otra sujeción de broche en la parte inferior para la cintura. El aspecto final de la almohadilla colocada es el de una mochila que le cubre completamente la zona hombros-espalda-riñones.

Para colocarla recomendamos el siguiente proceso:

1) Colocar la almohadilla con su funda sobre una superficie plana, con las cintas de sujeción superior extendidas y el cierre de la cin-tura abierto, de forma que las dos tiras de velcro de la zona de los hombros queden hacia abajo y las cintas de sujeción hacia arriba (ver figura 1).

2) Fijar las cintas superiores a las tiras de velcro de la zona de los hombros, formando dos aros amplios (ver figura 2).

3) Colocar la almohadilla en la espalda como si fuera un chaleco (ver figura 3).

4) Ajustar las dos cintas superiores a la medida, de forma que la par-te superior cubra los hombros.

5) Colocar el cinturón con el cierre de broche formado por las dos cintas inferiores y ajustarlo a la cintura (ver figura 4).

Para el mejor aprovechamiento del calor de la almohadilla, recomen-damos ajustarla al cuerpo mediante los tres elementos de fijación que incorpora y cubrirla vistiendo alguna prenda de ropa. (Ver Fig.1 a Fig.4)

Almohadilla lumbar-menstrual – LM

La almohadilla lumbar-menstrual está especialmente indicada para el tratamiento de los dolores localizados en la región lumbar y abdo-minal, proporcionando tratamiento local de estas molestias. Igual-mente está indicada para el tratamiento de las molestias propias del ciclo menstrual de la mujer.

Debe colocarse alrededor de la cintura, de forma que la almohadilla se sitúe por delante (zona abdominal) o por detrás (zona lumbar) se-gún convenga, y abrocharse el cinturón que incorpora, deslizándolo hasta alcanzar el ancho deseado.

HEBILLA BROCHE

BENEFICIOS DEL CALOR FLEXIBLELas almohadillas ergonómicas están indicadas para dolencias loca-lizadas. Hay que tener en cuenta que la aplicación de calor seco ge-nera un incremento de la temperatura corporal, que al ser dosificada con medida logra todo un conjunto de efectos terapéuticos:

- Ayuda a combatir los microorganismos termosensibles como virus o bacterias.

- Contribuye a mejorar la función del sistema inmunológico dado que el calor aumenta la presencia de glóbulos blancos (defensas) en la zona tratada.

- Ayuda a eliminar desechos tóxicos al generar transpiración.

- Optimiza la vitalidad de los órganos por su efecto vasodilatador que genera un incremento de la circulación en el área tratada paliando los síntomas en enfermedades vasculares como la arteriosclerosis.

- Ayuda en el tratamiento de procesos inflamatorios leves o mode-rados.

En aplicaciones locales el calor absorbido también aumenta la pre-sencia de glóbulos rojos, y por ende, de oxígeno en la zona, lo cual vitaliza el área y optimiza el metabolismo celular acelerando los pro-cesos curativos de dolencias musculares y articulares.

No obstante, se recomienda no colocar la almohadilla en zonas del cuerpo inflamadas, lesionadas o hinchadas sin consultar previamen-te a un médico especialista.

VALORES DE CALIDAD DAGALa Tecnología Flexy Heat de Daga garantiza que el producto que ha adquirido ha sido diseñado, fabricado y verificado con la tecnología más avanzada y según los más altos estándares de calidad, recogidos en la normativa vigente.

Para su fabricación se han utilizado tan solo materiales y compo-nentes cuidadosamente seleccionados y probados, a fin de crear un producto idóneo para la aplicación directa, proporcionando una larga vida útil y libre de fallos.

La precisión del circuito electrónico de control, asegura una regula-ción inteligente de temperatura en cualquier circunstancia, a la vez que supervisa el correcto funcionamiento del producto, previniendo cualquier riesgo por avería o uso indebido.

Gracias a su diseño especial, todos los productos fabricados con la tecnología Flexy Heat de Daga, generan durante su utilización un campo electromagnético muy bajo (low EMF). De esta forma el usua-rio no resulta expuesto a este tipo de radiación durante el uso del producto.

CONSERVACIÓN y DESECHO DEL PRODUCTOPara prolongar la vida útil de su almohadilla, deberá desenchufarse cuando no pretenda utilizarla en largos periodos de tiempo. Guardar-la en su envoltorio original en lugares secos, con el menor número de dobleces posibles y no planchar los pliegues. No colocar encima objetos pesados.

En los modelos de acabado plástico, utilice un paño húmedo para limpiarla.En los modelos de acabado textil no lave la parte interior de la almohadilla, ni siquiera en seco. En caso de presentar signos de humedad, secar antes de conectar.

Para limpiar la funda, retírela previamente de la almohadilla. Ésta se puede lavar a mano o a máquina (temperatura no superior a 50º C y utilizando un programa de lavado para prendas delicadas).

En caso que la almohadilla o cualquiera de las partes que compo-nen el producto presente signos de humedad, dejar secar antes de conectarla de nuevo.

Tras la vida útil de su almohadilla, por favor acuda al centro de reco-gida ecológica más cercano a su domicilio de acuerdo con la Pres-cripción de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos en Desuso 2002/96/EC, para ayudarnos a contribuir a la preservación del medioambien-te.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Carefully read the instructions for use.Keep them in a safe place for future reference.

Before turning on your heating pad, check that the voltage of your electric supply is the same as that indicated on the label or on the plastic printing attached to the heating pad. In those that incorpo-rate a power supply or network adaptor, check that that the voltage of your electric supply corresponds to that indicated on the adaptor label. With these heating pads, only use adaptor supplied, avoiding exchange with other devices.

In the case of heating pads with disconnectable controller, only use the controller that comes with the heating pad. Do not exchange with other devices.

For the correct use of the heating pad, do not fold it and avoid the molding and creases. Do not stick it with pins, needles or other sharp metal objects. Do not cover it with objects or place things on top of it during storage.

Do not use the heating pad if it is moist or wet. Do not place it under water. For cleaning, read the maintenance section of this manual.

Invalid, handicapped and people insensitive to heat as well as chil-dren should not use the heating pad without direct supervision. It should also not be used under the effects of alcohol, sleeping pills, sedatives or drugs. Do not use the heating pad to warm animals. If you have a pacemaker or other cardiovascular devices, even though the electromagnetic field generated by this heating pad is very low, we recommend that you check with your doctor before using the product.

The prolonged use of the heating pad at maximum level is suscep-tible to provoking skin burns. When the heating pad is used for long periods of time – for example, to sleep with – the controls should be adjusted as recommended in the manual for continuous use (heat setting 1).

This device was not conceived for medical use in hospitals.

It is important that the power cord is not wound up or touching the heating pad during use. To unplug the pad, do not pull on the cord or use it as a strap.

BASIC CHARACTERISTICS Various additional functions have been incorporated in this new gen-eration of controllers exclusive to the new and innovative line of DA-GA ergonomic heating pads.

WORK MODES

It offers the user 2 work modes:

a. Free mode: The regulator works non-stop in the heat setting se-lected by the user.

b. Autostop mode: The regulator activates the heating pad, in the heat setting and for the amount of time selected by the user. After this time has passed, the regulator automatically disconnects the heat-ing pad. There are 3 different operation times to choose from: 45, 60 and 90 minutes.

AUTOMATIC HEAT DECREASE

To avoid possible risks due to too much contact with the heating pad at a high temperatures, the regulator constantly supervises the operation as well as the temperature of the heating pad intervening, if necessary, to lower the temperature. This automatic temperature decrease takes place after approximately 2h of continuous operation at high temperatures.

AUTOMATIC SAFETy AUTOSTOP

To avoid possible risks due to accidentally leaving the heating pad on for a prolonged amount of time, a safety automatic Autostop stan-dard feature has been incorporated that activates after 8h of non-stop operation, without the user having to touch the controller. After activating this safety Autostop, the heating pad will disconnect from the power supply and the controller will indicate this circumstance by lighting up the yellow light Autostop indicator.

To leave the Autostop mode, just press any key on the controller. The regulator will move the default mode (free mode, heat setting 1).

USAGE MODE

1) Connect the heating pad to the correct power supply. In the mod-els with an adaptor, first connect the cord to the heating pad, and then, plug in the adaptor to the power supply.

2) To turn it on, use the controller and turn the side On/Off switch to the “I” position. Immediately, the electronic controller will do a quick check to de-tect possible anomalies indicated on the panel through a light scan. Then, the default work mode will be configured: Light 1 on (mini-mum heat setting) and Free mode (no time selected).

3) Next, adjust the heat setting using one of the 4 possible levels, repeatedly pressing the temperature selection key . From now on, the heating pad will operate normally in Free mode. In this mode, only the red light on the control panel will be on, indicating the tem-perature selected, while all the others are off.

4) You can select an Autostop time at any time, pressing the key as many times as you like.

The green lights indicate, at all times, the preselected operation time. If no green time light is on, it will return to the Free mode. Once the preselected operation time has passed, the heating pad will disconnect and all the temperature lights on the control panel will turn off and the preselected operation time indicator light will turn back on. 5) To turn off the heating pad, turn the side On/Off switch to the “0” position.

To the start using your heating pad, we recommend that you put the regulator at the maximum position (heat setting 4) for 20 minutes for quick heating. Then, lower to desired temperature. It is advisable that the maximum heat setting (level 4) be used only during the first 20 min of operation in order to quickly heat the heating pad; howev-er, if you do not follow this instruction, and as a safety measure, the heating pad will automatically lower its temperature after approxi-mately 2h of non-stop operation.

On this point, we remind you that the beneficial effects of heat sup-plied by the heating pad do not need high temperatures and con-tinuous skin exposure to heat could cause burns. The highest heat settings should only be used for the time necessary to reach a com-fortable temperature. It should then be turned gradually down.

As previously indicated, after prolonged use of the heating pad at the 3 and 4 heat settings, if you feel the temperature decreasing, it is not a failure; but rather the activation of the automatic elevated tempera-ture time control system, incorporated in the Daga heating pads, to avoid excessive application of heat to the skin.

When storing the heating pad, let it cool off before putting away and do not place objects on top of it.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

The controller does not turn on when I move the side On/Off switch

Make sure the power supply is working and that the heating pad is correctly plugged in.

For heating pads with incorporated adaptors, also check the connection between the adaptor and the heating pad.

Also, make sure that the side On/Off switch is in the “I” position.

The heating pad doesn’t warm up

The preselected operation time stop or safety Autostop could have activated itself. Verify that the heating pad is working by checking that some of the red lights are turned on. In case of doubt, press any of the keys to return to the Free mode or turn the heating pad off and on again.

After turning it on, the control panel does not configure the Free mode, heat setting 1, and the heating pad does not heat up.

The controller could have found an anomaly in the start-up and blocked the heating pad’s operation for safety purposes.

Turn the controller off and on again. If this incidence persists, please contact our authorized technical service center.

After the turning the pad on, the controller correctly configures the Free mode, heat setting 1, but the heating pad doesn’t heat up.

If you do not feel heat, cover it with a blanket, towel or thick cloth, place the regulator at the maximum position and wait 45 minutes. If this does not work, contact our authorized technical service center. Tests done with the heating pad uncovered or outdoors are not reliable because they can give erroneous heat evaluations.

The heating pad doesn’t heat up enough

If the heat is not sufficient at its maximum position, we recommend you place it directly on the skin, covering the other side with a towel or similar item, this way impeding that the heat is released into the air.

The control panel shows incomprehensible information.The lights don’t stop flashing.

The controller could have found an anomaly in the start-up and blocked the heating pad’s operation for safety purposes. Turn the controller off and on again. If the anomaly persists, please contact our authorized technical service center.

The heating pads reach temperatures between 65º and 75º C at their maximum position. This data should serve as a guideline. Monitoring is carried out in laboratories, according to the procedure in the UNE-EN 60335-2-17 directive.

THERMO-APPLICATIONSNAPE OF THE NECK-CERVICAL HEATING PAD – NC andNAPE OF THE NECK-CERVICAL-DORSAL HEATING PAD – NCDFatigue coming from daily activities, reproduces itself as muscle con-tractions, cervical pain, ...The different physical efforts accumulate in the most sensitive areas, especially in the nape of the neck, upper vertebras and back area, creating general discomfort and, in the most acute cases, persistent pain.

With the NC and NCD heating pads, DAGA offers an efficient system to effectively fight pain in the nape of the neck, upper vertebras and upper back, which are the most frequent areas affected by this type of discomfort and muscular tension.

The NC model is placed around the neck and held in place with Velcro that comes with a cloth cover, so it sits right under the chin.

To fit the NCD model, the cloth cover has two fastening systems: one with Velcro on the upper part to fasten it around the neck and another with straps to wrap it around the waist.

TOTAL BACK HEATING PAD – ET

The total back heating pad is indicated for its use on the back, shoulders and thorax area.

The back is an area of the body with little heat sensitivity; therefore, you should control the application time when using high heat set-tings. The highest heat settings of the regulator should only be used for the amount of time it takes to reach a comfortable temperature, and then be turned gradually down.

To facilitate its adaptation to the shoulder-back area, the heating pad cover comes with two Velcro fasteners at the upper part of the shoul-ders and a clasp at the waist. The final fit of the heating pad is like a backpack that completely covers the shoulder-back-lower back area.

To put it on, we recommend the following process:

1) Place the heating pad with its cover on a flat surface, stretch out the upper straps and open the waist belt so that the two Velcro straps at the shoulder area are facing downwards and the belt-straps upwards (see figure 1).

2) Stick the upper straps to the Velcro at the shoulder area, forming two wide circles (see figure 2).

3) Put the heating pad on the back as if it were a vest (see figure 3).

4) Adjust the two upper straps, so that they cover the shoulders.

5) Fit the belt clasp formed by the two lower straps and adjust it to the waist (see figure 4).

To better appreciate the heat, we recommend that you adjust the pad to the body using the three fastening elements and cover it with a piece of clothing. (See Fig.1 to Fig.4)

Back-menstrual heating pad – LM

The back-menstrual heating pad is especially indicated for the treat-ment of pain located in the back and abdominal region, providing lo-cal treatment to the discomfort. It is also indicated for the treatment of the discomfort coming from a woman’s menstrual cycle.

Place the pad around the waist, on the front of the body (abdominal area) or on the back (back area) as needed, fasten the belt and adjust it to the desired size.

BENEFITS OF FLEXIBLE HEATThe ergonomic heating pads are indicated for local discomforts. Take into account that the application of dry heat generates an increase in body temperature, so it should be used in measured doses in order benefit from the therapeutic effects:

- Helps to fight thermo-sensitive microorganisms such as virus or bacteria.

- Contributes to improving the immunological system because heat increases the number of white blood cells (defenses) in the treated area.

- Helps eliminate toxic waste and generates perspiration.

- Optimizes the vitality of the organs for a vasodilator effect that in-creases circulation in the affected area and fights the symptoms of vascular diseases such as arteriosclerosis.

- Helps treat minor or moderate inflammatory processes.

Locally, absorbed heat applications also increase the number red blood cells, and therefore, oxygen to the area, which vitalizes and op-timizes cellular metabolism and accelerates the remedial processes of muscular and articular discomfort.

However, we recommend that you do not apply the heating pad to areas of the body that are swollen, injured or bloated without first consulting your doctor.

Thanks to the special design, all the products made with Daga Flexy Heat technology generate a very low electromagnetic field (EMF). This way, the user is not exposed to radiation while using the product.

PRODUCT MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSALTo increase the life of your heating pad, unplug it when not in use. Keep it in its original packaging in a dry place, with the least num-ber of folds possible and do not smooth out the creases. Do not put heavy objects on top of it.

In the plastic models, use a damp cloth for cleaning. In the cloth models, do not wash the inside of the heating pad, not even with dry cleaning.

If there are signs of dampness, dry the pad before plugging it in.

To clean the cover, remove it from the heating pad. It can be hand or machine washed (do not use temperatures higher than 50º C and use the delicate wash program).

If the heating pad or any of its parts show signs of dampness, dry before plugging it in.

When throwing away your heating pad, please bring it to your nearest recycling center in accordance with the European directive for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment 2002/96/EC, to help preserve the environment.

WARRANTy BULLETINESPECIALIDADES ELECTRICAS DAGA, S.A. guarantees the conformity of this pro-duct for its intended use, for a period of 3 years and in all the Spanish territory. During the validity period and during the breakdown, the user has the right to the repair or replacement of the product, free of charge, except in the case that one of these options is not possible or disproportionate, then he may opt to a reduction in the price or cancellation of the sale, having to address in this case the vendor establishment; it also covers the replacement of spare parts whenever, in both cases, the product was used in accordance to the recommen-dations specified in this handbook, and it was not handled improperly by third parties not authorised by DAGA S.A.This warranty does not affect the consumer rights in accordance to that pro-vided in Law 23/2003, of 10th of July 2003 on guarantees in the sale of consumption goods in Spain.
