El primer periodo se evaluará del 16 al 20 de Marzo con la presentación de los proyectos en el salón de clases.La feria de proyectos se llevará a cabo el día 7 de Mayo de 8 a 10 PM y con esta se evaluará el rubro de proyectos de 2do periodo. (Dar un punto al favorito en examen)

You have been chosen to promote the South Africa World Cup 2010

Your overall task is to invite people to visit oneof the host cities of the South Africa World Cup 2010

and to make them fans of the 2 teams you are supporting.

You will promote your city and teams by the creationof a 10 min. video, a brochure, a model of an

interesting place to visit in your city, the model of a stadium, flyers, posters, invitations, e-mails, cheap souvenirs (of the teams and the city)

and uniforms for the group.

1. You will be choosing your teams members and role.2. You will be given one of the host cities of the WorldCup 2010.

Take into consideration the resources provided, the kind of software you will need and the deadline of the project. As a writer you are responsible of the written parts of the project. Remember to use the spelling checker and review the grammar. Every time you have a written part ready show it to your teacher for a final review.

HISTORIANsYou are responsible for:- The study of the city.Name, province, population, altitude, geography,climate, history, key economic sectors, professional football clubs, stadium(s) in the city.- Preparing a tour around the city:Including all the interesting and entertaining placesto visit; and give it to the art directors to include it in the brochure and to the editors to include it inthe video. - Model of an interesting place in the city.

Your job is to read the writings and provide the editorswith lots of pictures and videos to go with them. To make the brochure of the city and a small model of a stadium in the city.

Football and marketingexperts

You are responsible for - The study of the football teams:Profile, the road to South Africa, the star players, the coach, previous FIFA World Cups, what people say,matches to be played in the 2010 World Cup andpredictions (of your teams) for this World Cup.-The promotion of the event and your teams:Flyers, posters, invitations, e-mails, cheap souvenirs (of the teams and the city) and uniforms for the group.
