AVANCESNuestra asesora nos dejó un plan de estudio para toda la semana santa, donde la idea era básicamente practicar de manera independiente y en la medida de lo posible sin presiones, sin stress y con un poco de diversión, a nuestro correo nos mando el plan de estudio para cada día de la semana, en mi caso, lo fui desarrollando como ella nos lo recomendó para que no se me acumulara y después no me tocara hacerlos a la carrera y de cualquier manera cuando ya fuera demasiado tarde debido a que eran gran variedad y cantidad de actividades y requerían de su buen tiempo y dedicación.

ACTIVIDADES CON SU RESPECTIVO DESARROLLO

Para el proyecto, ya algunos grupos han escrito el primer avance, otros no han empezado, así que describo los avances con los que deben estar al día en la semana de pascua:

Avance 1.  Descripción general de su barrio, ubicación, relevancia, apariencia general, lugares que se encuentran, tipos de personas que se encuentran, actividades comunitarias.  Este ya lo hicieron algunos grupos, la idea es que los grupos a los que no les ha correspondido lo hagan para la semana de pascua.

En este caso yo ya había hecho un corto avance de la descripción general de mi barrio (actualmente vivo en Floresta) pero como el trabajo que nos pusieron del barrio tenía que ver mucho con las actividades de semana Santa, pues decidí hacerlo mejor con el barrio de donde vive mi núcleo familiar en el Carmen de viboral, yo realmente naci en Rionegro, viví parte de mi vida allí, pero hace muchos años también nos fuimos a vivir en el Carmen, donde pase gran parte de mi infancia y juventud, voy casi todos los fines de semana y estuve celebrando la semana santa allí entonces decidí hacer el proyecto con mi barrio el Edén, en el Carmen de Viboral.

DESCRIPTION OF MY NEIGHBORHOODMy neighborhood is called El Eden, it is located in El Carmen de Viboral, I don’t live there temporarily, but I try to go on weekends and for Holy Week, my neighborhood is just 2 blocks from the main park, it is one of the most recognized neighborhoods in the municipality because its structure, its houses, its central location, its socioeconomic status and the good atmosphere of tranquility that prevails there.

Those who live in El Edén have the fortune to have the most characteristic places because of its proximity, for example the church that is 2 blocks away, especially I live in an urbanization

that is just 1 block from the Coliseum, the municipal public library is in the corner and on that same block is the school Jorge Eliecer Gaitán that previously had its auditorium where the municipal library is now, 1 block down is the Initiation and Training Center Sports, 4 blocks down the municipal soccer field, and four blocks up the Citadel, where they perform the most important events of the municipality and one block one of the most renowned institutions of the municipality: Educational Institution Fray Julio Tobón B.

In my neighborhood they live most of the most recognizable people, among small businessmen, the mayor, teachers and people like my family with a moderate job. In the neighborhood there are masses, community meetings, community support bazaars, among other things.

The inhabitants of the neighborhood are very decent people, responsible, kind, respectful, supportive, cheerful, but they usually live on their own side. Although it is very important to clarify that they have always been kind to me.

My neighborhood there was a few house, it is had a lot of natural reserves, now has very good constructions but the reserve has been preserved and cared. No one ever imagined that this green space might be good to live, this has improved a lot.

There are no problems, nor violence.

Avance 2.  Salir a ver cómo la gente pasa el tiempo en el barrio esta semana santa, tomar fotos de su barrio, de las personas, de las reuniones comunitarias... si no tienen una cámara disponible o un celular con cámara disponible, díganmelo para proponerles otro tipo de ejercicio.

Tomar de las fotos a tres personas.  Un anciano(a) un niño(a) y un adulto(a) y describirlos por completo, haciendo referencia a la apariencia física y a las prendas de vestir que tiene.

Armar una presentación en power point con las fotos y con las descripciones, registrarse en http://www.slideshare.net  y subirla allí.

NOTA: Profe, realmente el barrio en el que vivimos, la gente no sale como por ahí al barrio (tal y como se lo describí en el avance del proyecto) pero si participan mucho de las actividades que se hacen y de la semana santa. Como se realizaron varias actividades muy cerca del barrio tome fotos del viacrucis por ejemplo y se nota la participación de la comunidad donde se encuentran por supuesto muchos habitantes del barrio.

Lo pueden hacer de dos maneras:

1. Buscar en Google en imágenes las palabras, copiar las imágenes y pegarlas en Word, sólo con la palabra en inglés. De tal manera que asocien la imagen con la grafía y la palabra en inglés, no la palabra en inglés con la traducción.

2. Buscar las imágenes en Google, buscarlas en revistas y armar el diccionario en físico.

Leer una historia, no traducir, sino tratar de entender la historia en inglés con la ayuda del diccionario. Tratar de comprender la historia es la idea general, no pasarla a español.

Construir una línea de tiempo de lo que pasó en la historia con oraciones sencillas.

CUENTO

Once upon a time there lived a pauper and a banker. The first was as poor as the second was rich. So it was inevitable that the rich man will be happier than the pauper. But their natures were opposite, for the poor man was happy whereas the banker was not. The banker was annoyed of the fact that while he tossed and turned in his bed at night, the pauper slept peacefully and always awoke rested and full of energy.

One day the banker could stand it no longer. He decided to find out why the pauper was a happy man inspite of his poverty. So he summoned him to his house and asked him his yearly income because he believed that happiness could only be measured in terms of wealth

"I don't count too well, nor do I really care. I live each day as it comes and never worry about the next."

"Well, then, just tell me how much you earn in one day," insisted the rich man.

"I earn what I need. And even that would be too much were it not for all the Sundays and holidays when I must close my shop."

The banker liked the pauper. He wished to thank him for coming to his house, so he presented the poor man with a bag of hundred gold coins .

Now, to the pauper these coins, which meant so little to the banker, seemed a great fortune. He decided to hide the bag, so that he would have the money if ever he should need it. So, when he returned to his house, he dug a big hole in a secluded corner of the garden, threw the bag into it, and covered it with dirt.

But from that day on, the poor man's life changed- he began to worry about the safety of his money. Every night he slept a little less, and each time he heard the slightest sound, he became anxious about the safety of his coins.

Finally, he could bear his unhappiness no longer. He went to the garden, dug up the coins and returned them to the banker.

The pauper had learned an important lesson, and so has the banker

En un principio no entenderán mucho pero en la medida que van repitiendo cada vez serán más las palabras que comprendan.

AVANCESRealmente no es un secreto para nadie que TODAS absolutamente todas las actividades que se desarrollaron en este curso fueron de suma importancia, nos fortaleció, nos brindó la posibilidad de abrirnos un poco más y arriesgarnos a hablar en otra lengua frente a un público, es aún mucho más maravilloso contar con una muy buena asesora que nos guie de forma pertinente y adecuadamente, me encanta su metodología para darse a entender , el hecho por ejemplo de sacar al tablero, hacer distintas preguntas a todos en general y no dejar que la clase pase por desapercibida nos fortalece y nos hace más profesionales.
