PRESENTACIN

The English language has become a very important language in the world today, people who want to become updated have to know it.

For students at the university is important to increase their knowledge and usage of English and they have to be able to read, write, listen and speak English, in order to acquire the meaning of a text written in English or to communicate with other people in English.

JUSTIFICACIN

The world is becoming smaller and people all over the world are getting closer because of the invents and some modern devices such as computers, internet, e - mail, etc; and it is necessary to be updated.

By the other hand the Internationalization of the economy has made borderless countries and these events have pulled students to get a bigger Knowledge of English in order to comunicate themselves and to be able to read and understand a text given in English.

COMPETENCIAS

To prepare students to develop abilities to speak, read, and write fort both general and specific purposes.. Students will be able to: a. Use oral & written English in a variety of comunicative situations; b. Translate English technical text into Spanich, c. Produce a pre-established set of phonemes and use them for comunicative purposes.

2. Students are also expected to increase their knowledge of objectives "a", "b", and "c" above through extensive reading activities.
