Working principleTo cover a range of grinding applications, 3 and 5 piece knife sets are available with a fixed pre-cutter to reduce pressure on the knifeset. This reduces wear and heat build-up. The cut knives have a positive cutting angle to ensure clean cutting, excellent grinding andminimum wear. The modular design is based on the GEA UniGrind 250, and features belt-drive adjustment from outside the cabinetto simplify maintenance.
Working principle
• 1500 l buffer hopper with agitator for constant grinding
• 250 mm cutting set
• Hygienic design with easily exchangeable parts
• Long worm version for coarse and fine grinding of fresh
• Short worm version for pre-grinding and grinding
PerformanceTo increase the capacity an optional booster pump fits between the worm and knife set to increase capacity. This option increases thecapacity by up to 100%, even with small-hole plates and viscous products. This option also reduces backwash which improves particledefinition and product contrast.
Performance
• Robust, enclosed and easy-to-clean cabinet
• Clamp system for fast mounting/dismounting ofgrinding heads
• Modular concept with easily exchangeable parts
• Easy access to transmission with drive belt adjusted
