Jimena and Shaza were the stars of one of the most memorable stories in recent years. The two young women met in Dubai and fell in love at first sight; but soon they came across a wall of incomprehension and homophobia that led them to flee the country. During this time they were detained in Turkey because of their sexual orien-tation. They finally managed to reach Spain, where they now share their lives together. On Friday, August 17th, they will tell us their story firsthand as part of the Girlie Circuit Festival 2018 cultural program.Talk in Spanish or Catalan with consecutive translation into English

Las jóvenes Jimena y Shaza protagonizaron una de las aventuras más memorables de los últimos años. Se conocieron en Dubái y el flechazo fue instantáneo; pero pronto se toparon con un muro de incomprensión y homofobia que las llevó a protagonizar una huida durante la que llegaron a ser retenidas en Turquía a causa de su orientación sexual. Finalmente lograron llegar a España, donde en la actualidad residen y disfrutan de una vida juntas. WELCOME POINT• Info, tickets and Circuit official store every day of the event at Aribau, 31 from 2 pm to 10 pm.

TICKETS & ALL ACCESS PASSES• Buy your advance online tickets at Girliecircuit.net, Ticketmaster.es or from authorized distributors. You will also be able to purchase them in Barcelona, at the official Welcome Point (Aribau, 31) from 2 pm to 10 pm. • Get your All Access Pass wristband all days of the event from 2 pm to 10 pm at the official Welcome Point by presenting your ‘print at home’ ticket or voucher confirmation and your ID card, Foreign Resident ID Card (NIE) or Passport (only originals, photocopies will not be accepted). If you arrive in Barcelona after the Welcome Point is closed, you will be able to access to that night’s party by presenting your voucher confirmation. • The All Access Pass is personal and non-transferable. You must wear it during the entire event. If you lose or cut it you will not receive a refund or have access to the parties.• The All Access Pass does not exempt its wearer from complying with the same rules of entry and behavior that apply to the other festival attendees.• The organization reserves the right to invalidate the All Access Pass and refuse admission to anyone whose attitude could be considered inappropriate. • Only official tickets will grant you access to the festival, so watch out for possible unauthorized ticketing companies. The promoter will not be held responsible for falsifications.The all access pass is not valid for Circuit Festival (gay).

ACCESS• Minors under the age of 18 are not allowed entry to the festival. Everybody must present an ID card, foreign resi-dent ID Card (NIE) or passport (only originals, photocopies will not be accepted).• We recommend you arrive at the parties early, as capacity is limited and access won’t be guaranteed to those without tickets or All Access Passes.• Access to the parties is fast, but there may be some

delays, so we ask for your patience if this happens. • In case that you leave a party venue and you want to come back later, you will have to buy a new ticket. • For your convenience, we recommend you bring cash to purchase your drink tickets.• In all the parties you will find a cloakroom area whe-re you can leave your personal belongings.

TRANSPORT• Use our Circuit bus to get to the parties. Its conve-nient price, speed and the information available there make it the best transport option.

SECURITY• Before accessing each party, all carried backpacks or packages will be searched as required by law. A refusal of the search will mean that person will be banned from the party.• The organization reserves the right to refuse admis-sion to anyone whose attitude could be considered inappropriate, offensive or show symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.• It is forbidden to enter the festival with illegal substances, alcohol, drinks or liquids, audio and video recorders, weapons or dangerous items.• If you feel unwell during a party, rest and have plenty of water and carbohydrates. If necessary, seek medical assistance. All events will have a team of professionals ready to take care of you.

IMAGE RIGHTS• By buying the tickets, unless written communication is submitted to the Organization, the attendees give their consent to appear in images taken during the events for their subsequent distribution for promotio-nal, informational or commercial purposes.

Si se rompe o extravía, quedará automáticamente invalidada; no siendo reintegrado su importe ni permitida la entrada a los eventos.• La pulsera-abono no exime a su portadora de la obligación de cumplir con las mismas normas de entrada y comporta-miento que el resto de asistentes al festival.• La organización se reserva el derecho de invalidar la pulsera-abono y no volver a permitir la entrada a toda aquella persona que muestre o haya mostrado un comportamiento inadecuado.• Solo las entradas oficiales permitirán el acceso al festival. La organización no se hará responsable de posibles falsifica-ciones. • El abono-pulsera pulsera no es válido para Circuit Festival (gay).

ACCESO• Queda prohibida la entrada a menores de 18 años. Es imprescindible para todas las asistentes llevar consigo el DNI, NIE o pasaporte (solo originales, no se aceptarán fotocopias).• Es recomendable llegar pronto a las fiestas, ya que el aforo es limitado y no se garantiza el acceso a aquellos que no tengan entrada anticipada o abono.• El acceso a las fiestas es ágil, pero en ciertos momentos puede haber colas, por lo que os pedimos paciencia si esto sucede. • En caso de haber abandonado una fiesta y querer acceder nuevamente a la sala, el usuario deberá comprar una nueva

entrada. • Para una mayor comodidad, te recomendamos llevar dinero en efectivo para comprar tus tickets canjeables por consumiciones.• En todas las fiestas hallaréis un guardarropa en el que podréis dejar vuestras pertenencias.

TRANSPORTE• Siempre que sea posible, elige los autobuses Circuit para llegar a las fiestas. Es la mejor opción de transporte gracias a su conveniente precio, su rapidez y la posibilidad de recibir información en el mismo vehículo.

SEGURIDAD• Antes de acceder a cada fiesta, todas las mochilas o bolsos serán registrados conforme a la ley. La negativa a esta inspección supondrá la no admisión al recinto.• El festival se reserva el derecho de admisión a toda per-sona cuya actitud pueda ser considerada ofensiva, violenta o dé muestras de encontrarse bajo los efectos del alcohol y/o sustancias ilegales. • Está prohibido introducir en los recintos del festival sustancias prohibidas por la ley, alcohol, bebidas o líqui-dos, grabadoras de audio y vídeo, armas o instrumentos contundentes, cortantes o peligrosos.• Si te sientes indispuesto durante alguna fiesta, descansa, hidrátate e ingiere carbohidratos. Si lo precisas, no dudes en pedir atención médica. En todas las salas habrá un equipo de profesionales listos para atenderte.

DERECHOS DE IMAGEN• Mediante la compra de entradas y salvo notificación por escrito a la Organización, el público consiente en su aparición en imágenes tomadas durante los eventos y su posterior difusión promocional, informativa y/o comercial.

The Catalonian Police-Mossos d’Esquadra wants to transmit you the following safety and civic behavior tips:

SECURITY TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT:• At the hotel: do not leave your baggage unattended at any moment when doing the check in and check out.• At the beach: do not carry large amounts of cash or valuable items. Always keep an eye on your personal belongings. • On the street and public transport: stay alert and watch your wallet, bag and personal belongings. Watch out for anyone who tackles you on the street.• At the restaurant: do not leave your handbag or valuable items on the table or resting on the seat back• In nightlife areas, have drinks controlled to prevent them from introducing unwanted substances.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU ARE A VICTIM OF THEFT, DISCRIMINATION OR HOMOPHOBIC AGGRESSION?• Keep calm and report 112.• Memorize and record the description of the authors and place as closely as possible.• If you have been injured, go directly to the health center and ask for a medical report.• Make sure that the report includes all the details of the event. In case of a hate crime, make sure to include evidences, details and expressions that prove it.

TIPS FOR GOOD CIVIC BEHAVIOR: We recommend you not to engage in any of the above activities, which are prohibited, reported and fined: • Going out shirtless if not near beach areas: 120 euro fine. • Drinking alcohol in the streets: 50 euro fine.• Noise pollution (screaming, shouting, singing): 120 euro fine.• Urinating or defecating in the street: 180 euro fine. • Buying from illegal street vendors: 180 euro fine. • Littering on public roads: 90 euro fine. • Consume narcotic substances in the streets and public spaces.

SIÉNTETE SEGURO DURANTE CIRCUIT FESTIVALBarcelona es una ciudad acogedora y tolerante, pero te recomendamos que seas prudente y observes ciertas medidas para garantizar tu seguridad y una buena convivencia con sus ciudadanos durante los días del festival.

La Policía de la Generalitat de Catalunya-Mossos d’Esquadra nos ofrece los siguientes consejos:

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD DURANTE VUESTRA VISITA:• En el hotel: en el momento de llegada y de salida no perdáis de vista vuestro equipaje.• En la playa: no llevéis objetos de valor y mantened controlados vuestros efectos personales. • En la calle y el transporte público: vigilad vuestra cartera, bolsa de mano y objetos de valor. Estad atentos a cualquier persona que os aborde por la calle. • En los restaurantes: no perdáis de vista vuestra bolsa de mano ni objetos de valor. Procurad no dejar vuestros efectos personales sobre la mesa o apoyados en el respaldo del asiento. • En zonas de ocio nocturno: tened controladas las bebidas para evitar que puedan introducir sustancias no deseadas.

¿QUÉ HACER SI SOIS VÍCTIMAS DE UN ROBO, DISCRIMINACIÓN O AGRESIÓN HOMÓFOBA? • Mantened la calma y avisad al 112 (teléfono de emergencias). • Memorizad y anotad una descripción lo más detallada posible de los autores y del lugar. • Si habéis sufrido una lesión, por leve que sea, id a un centro sanitario y solicitad un informe médico. • Aseguraos de que vuestra denuncia recoja todos los detalles del suceso. • Si se trata de un crimen de odio, incluid las expresiones, pruebas y detalles que acrediten que se trata de una discriminación. • La denegación de un servicio público por razón de sexo u orientación sexual constituye un acto de discriminación punible.

CONSEJOS DE COMPORTAMIENTO CÍVICO:Para garantizar una coexistencia respetuosa y pacífica con los habitantes de la ciudad, te recomendamos que no realices ninguna de estas activida-des (que, además, están prohibidas y sancionadas):• Ir sin camiseta fuera de las zonas de playa: multa de 120 €.• Consumir alcohol en la calle: multa de 50 €.• Producir contaminación acústica (gritos, voces y cánticos): multa de 120 €.• Orinar o defecar en la calle: multa de 180 €.• Comprar a vendedores callejeros ilegales: multa de 180 €.• Tirar objetos en la vía pública: multa de 90 €.• Consumir sustancias estupefacientes en las vías y espacios públicos.
