RESUMEN COMPARATIVO

OBSERVACIONES DE LA JEFE DEL OBSER VA TO RIO METEOROLOGICO.

DICIEMBRE 2013 E n terminos generales el promedio de la temperatura media, maxima y minima en este mes de diciembre estuvieron por arriba de lo normal; mientras que la precipitacion fue menor a lo usual. Comparando los diferentes parametros meteorologicos registrados durante el mes de diciembre en el Observatorio de L a Paz con los promedios climatologicos y las efemerides para el mismo mes, se tienen las siguientes observaciones:

Temperaturas. L a s temperaturas medias, maximas y minimas en diciembre han continuado descendiendo con respecto a los meses anteriores. E l comportamiento de las temperaturas fue el siguiente:

• L a temperatura media mensual en L a Paz fue de 20.9 °C y fue 1.1 °C por arriba de lo normal.

• E l promedio de las temperaturas maximas diarias fue de 26.3 °C y estuvo 0.8 °C por arriba de la media.

• E l promedio de las temperaturas minimas diarias fue de 16.4 °C y fue 2.0 °C por encima de la media.

E n cuanto a las temperaturas extremas, se puede observar lo siguiente: • L a temperatura maxima extrema en este diciembre fue de 33.0 °C el dia 20. No se

alcanzo la temperatura maxima extrema que para este mes es de 33.8 °C ni ninguna de las efemerides diarias.

• L a temperatura minima extrema en este diciembre fue de 9.8 °C el dia 21. No se alcanzo la temperatura minima extrema que para este mes es de 4.0° C ni se rebasaron las efemerides diarias.

E n cuanto a la temperatura efectiva promedio, esta fue fresca durante el dia, mientras que las noches y madrugadas fueron frias.

Precipitacion. E n este mes de diciembre la precipitacion fue mas baja de lo normal, llovio 1.3 mm. L a lluvia acumulada desde el 1° de enero al 31 de diciembre fue de 170.8 mm. y en comparacion con la precipitacion media se observa que en el 2013 la precipitacion estuvo 7% por abajo de lo normal.

Vientos L o s vientos dominantes en este mes de diciembre fueron del N E , con un promedio de 2.4 m/s (8.6 km/h). E l viento maximo mensual fue del N E con una intensidad de 10.6 m/s (37.8 km/h) el dia 9 de diciembre.
