CHK2002

CHK2002 is a program realizated for automatical correction algorhythm "checksum" for themodern ECU.

It use the best technologies by Alientech and it is properly integrated with automatical internetservices that we are offering.

CHK2002 is upgreadable in real time, in every times, using our internet databank. Thechecksum families are properly compatible with ECM2001, so integrable when the user decideto add ECM2001 to his software tools.

The software has a few utilities (optional plug in) that make files management operations easyfor users.

INSTALLATION

ECM2001 works only when the hardware key is connected to PC parallel port.Download the NEW USER installation files from our internet data bank using your user id andpassword

At first start of software, CHK2002 will create the autorization codes that to have send

according the following instructions

AC.COD It is situated into C:\CHK2002 folderand it is used for software activation.

Send AC.COD file to [email protected] .The AC.CFG file in a short time will send toyou and you have to save it C:\CHK2002folder. In the next start the program will askto you to insert the 4 digits of your personalcode (Cxxxx) and the language .

UT.COD It is situated into C:\CHK2002 folderand it is used for optionals plug-inactivation. (Compress / decompressBCB - Code / decode Siemens F200 e

2001 algorhythm - Split / join 8 e 16bit files - Duplicate eprom -Comapare two files)

Send UT.COD file to [email protected] AC.CFG file in a short time will send toyou and you have to save it C:\CHK2002folder.

WORKING

CHK2002 has actually 41 checksum families. In the first start all families are not available (redcheck box). When you buy and install a new checksum family, the red check box will becomegreen.

The automatic data bank for checksum families download is accessible only with a code and apassword.

The user would have one or more credits for download checksum families.It's possible to connect to internet databank from our home page www.alientech.to clicking onCHECKSUM DOWNLOAD button.

Enter User id and passwordand click on ENTRA button

Select checksum family thatyou need and click onSTART button

The databank tell you thatthe checksum family isready to download and thecredits left over. Click onZIPPA button to continue.

Click on download button to

download the checksumfamily. You have to savethis file inC:\CHK2002\RECV folder.

After you have saved the downloaded file into C:\CHK2002\RECV folder, you have to useUTILITY / ASSISTANCE / DECOMPRESS DATA function to install the new checksum family.

CHECKSUM

Checksum control

It allows to control and, if necessary, to modifythe checksum of the file. The working of thisfunction will be explained better in anotherpage.

ALT + C

This function asks you to control the checksum

who is includes in the file requested.

If the checksum is OK, the program informyou, if it isn't ok, the program correct it andmake a file call it with the same name but withdifferent extension.CKS. The program puts thefile in the same folder of the selected file.

Compress /decompress BIN ->BCB e BCB -> BIN

This utility allow to decompress ECU M1.5.5

original files (.BCB extension) and get binaryfiles from which extrapolate maps to do desiredmodifications.

After modifying the file is needed compress itagain to become it a .BCB file that could besent in ECU through OBD-II connector.

The file produced will be saved in the directoryfrom which was taken the original file.

This utility decoding and coding the files with aSiemens protocol.

When this function is activated, ECM2001 askyou to select a file to codify or decodify. DuringCODIFY will be create a file with extension.SIE, in the DECODIFY will be create a file withextension .BIN.

Duplicate eprom

This function allows to do files more big thanthat you have selected. After you have selectedthe file, ECM2001 learns the dimension andchecks the boxs with that you can do other

files.

You can select the size that you want and youmust click on button "Crea EPROM". You willsee a window that allow to you choose thename and the destination of the new file.

Compare two files

This function allows to you the comparisonbetween byte after byte, belonging twofiles.You must select two files and click on thebutton "Compare".

CHECKSUM CHECK

This utility allows to control the checksum of a file and to repair it in the case that it is notcorrect. You can select the file that you want to control and choose the family that belong it.

If you push the button "Compute" the program effects the control and show you the result ofthe check.

If the file's checksum is not OK, CHK2002 asks if it is necessary to effect the corrections and tosave a new file.
