L’Ajuntament de Palma es suma al projecte de l’Espai Weyler Cort ha aprovat una important inversió en diverses infraestructures al Espai Weyler mitjançant el Fons Estatal per l’ocupació i la sostenibilitat local. Això significa un notable impuls al projecte global per a la finca com a lloc de trobada, obert a la so-cietat, per a divulgar i sensibilitzar respecte a temes relacionats amb la discapacitat i la integració.

Palma City Council Joins the Espai Weyler Project Palma City Council has given the green light to a large investment in vari-ous infrastructures of the Espai Weyler by way of the State Fund for local employment and sustain-ability. This will give a big boost to the overall project for the area as a meeting point, which is open to all, in order to sensitise people and spread information on matters re-lated to disability and integration.

New Opening Hours and a New Menu for the Cafè Palmanova From 6th April onwards, the restaurant will remain open from 13:00 through to 23:00, except in the evening on public holidays and Mondays. We will also be offering a new menu with rice dishes and tapas, and as always, breakfast, takeaway food, sampler menus, catering services and an organic food shop.

La Consellera d’Agricultura i Pesca apoya el proyecto de manipulación del pescado El pasado 25/02/2010, Mercé Amer, Consellera d’Agricultura i Pesca realizó una visita a nuestras ins-talaciones del Espai Weyler. La Consellera pudo comprobar cómo se está llevando a cabo el nuevo proyecto de manipulación de pes-cado mallorquín.

The Councillor for Agricul-ture and Fisheries Lends her Support to the Fish-Handling Project On 25/02/2010, Mercé Amer, Councillor for Agriculture and Fisheries paid a visit to our new building in the Espai Weyler. The Councillor was able to see how the new Mallorcan fish-handling project was being carried out.

Más de 350 personas en la IV Jornada Anual de amadip.esment El sábado 24 de abril celebramos nuestra jornada anual para familias, profesionales y voluntarios a la que asistieron más de 350 personas. Una vez más, hemos querido escuchar al entorno, no sólo a nuestro sec-tor, sino también otras experiencias que, en su afán de hacer las cosas mejor, hayan destacado en otras actividades y nos permitan enriquecer nuestra visión. Al acto también asistieron Aina Calvo, Batlessa de Palma, Jaume Garau, Conseller de Benestar Social del Consell de Mallorca, Miquel Mestre, Director General de Formació Professional i Aprenentatge Permanent, Miquel Va-quer, Presidente de Grupo Oxidoc i Francesc Grimalt, Enólogo de 4 Kilos Vinícola.

More than 300 people attend the IV Annual Day Conference of amadip.esment On Saturday 24th April, we held our annual day conference for families, professionals and volunteers and over 350 people attended. Once again, we sought to listen to people around us, not only in our own sector, but to people who have had different experiences and who enable us to enrich our vision thanks to their drive to do things better and their outstanding actions. The following people were also present during the conference: Aina Calvo, Mayoress of Palma, Jaume Garau, Social Services Councillor of the Gov-ernment of Mallorca, Miquel Mestre, General Director of Occupational Training and Ongoing Learning, Miquel Vaquer, President of e Grupo Oxidoc and Francesc Grimalt, Oenologist from 4 Kilos Vinícola.

Participen en les tasques més senzilles de cuina i ho alternen amb activitats personals i socials com per exemple: informà-tica, activitats acadèmiques, habi-litats socials, estimulació cognitiva, sortides a la comunitat etc…

The Palmanova Occupational Centre Creates New Occupa-tional Activities Since the month of March, a group of 6 people have joined Palmanova’s occu-pational service. They have been taking part in the simplest of cook-ery tasks and alternate these with personal and social activities such as: IT, academic activities, social skills, cognitive stimulation, day trips, etc…

Se nos ha adjudicado el concur-so del Consorci de Transports de Mallorca La actividad de man-tenimiento de espacios y equipa-mientos ha conseguido el contrato de limpieza de las instalaciones de la terminal de autobuses y de los vestíbulos de la Estación Intermodal de Palma. El contrato tiene una du-ración de 1 año y proporcionará 4 nuevos puestos de trabajo para per-sonas con discapacidad.

We have Won the CleaningContract for the Mallorca Transport Consortium The ac-tivity of maintaining buildings and equipment has helped us to win the cleaning contract for the bus terminal buildings and the hallways of the Intermodal Station of Palma. The contract has a duration of 1 year and will provide 4 new jobs for disabled workers.

Convenio entre la Fundació Bàsquet Balears y amadip.esment El pasado 25 de febrero ambas entidades firmaron un convenio de colaboración para fomentar la integración social de las personas con discapacidad intelectual a través del deporte y hacer llegar a la sociedad balear todos los beneficios de la práctica del baloncesto.

Agreement between the Balearic Basketball Foundation and amadip.esment Both bodies signed a collaboration agreement on 25th February to promote social integration of people with learning disabilities through sport and to promote awareness among Bal-earic society of the benefits of practising basketball.
