Se otorgarán becas a ciudadanos de varios países del mundo (incluyendo Argentina), para realizar un programa de desarrollo profesional de un semestre e n una universidad de los Estados Unidos . El programa comenzará a fines de agosto y durará hasta mediados de diciembre de 2011. Durante el programa, los candidatos seleccionados desarrollarán una intensa agenda de actividades, entre las cuales podemos mencionar: - cursos de posgrado; - investigación - clases o seminarios específicos para docentes y estudiantes estadounidenses - clases en equipo con otros docentes y/o clases magistrales Durantes sus estadías, los participantes deberán, además, diseñar y trabajar en un proyecto integrador con fines educativos. Al regresar a sus países, los participantes deberán ser agentes multiplicadores de la experiencia y de los conocimientos adquiridos en sus comunidades locales. CO11 Live Online Conference

Date: 4th to 6th February

The conference will be of interest to educators, administrators, students, and community members who value the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum to improve instruction and learning. Online learning involves various skills on the part of the instructor and learner. These include social and communication skills, social networking, independent learning strategies, critical and higher order thinking skills, creativity, and effective online and face-to-face facilitation. In addition, there are may challenges that the educators, administrators, students, and community members face.
