SEGURIDAD EN EL MÁSTIL / MAST SAFETY

Los movimientos de expansión e izado de latorre se harán a través de dos cilindros dedoble efecto, que ofrecen una mayor seguridadpara trabajar a distintos ángulos.

El mástil incorpora un sistema de cadenasporta-cables de óptimo comportamiento encondiciones de trabajo extremo ( 120 ºC), quegarantiza la protección y evita el descuelguede cables con el paso del tiempo.

El mástil incorpora válvulas de seguridad anti-caida para proteger ante posibles roturas delatiguillos. Estos latiguillos son tubos para hidráulicaen acero bicromatado, que ofrecen una mayorseguridad frente a la corrosión y mayor resistenciaa torceduras e impactos.

The expansion and lifting movements of thetower are done by two double effectcylinders, that offer the maximum safetywhen working in di f ferent angles.

The mast has a cable holding system bychains work under the most extremeconditions ( 120ºC), that guaranteesprotection as well as avoiding cables fromstarting hanging with use.

The mast also incorporates anti-fall safetyvalves to protect against any possiblebreakage of any conducts. These are tubesfor hydraulics in bichromatized steel, whichoffer a great protection against corrosion anda higher resistance against twisting andimpacts.

SOPORTE DE MÁSTIL

Entre otras funciones, alberga y protege elmotor eléctrico que acciona todo el sistemahidráulico del mástil. Para evitar el desgasteen el giro del mástil, durante el movimiento deizado se han colocado unos casquillos debronce antifricción, con lo que se consigue quecon el transcurso del tiempo no haya holguraen el mástil.

MAST SUPPORT

Among other functions, houses andprotects the electrical motor that drives allthe hydraulic system of the mast. In orderto avoid the wear of the mast due to the raisingmovement, anti friction bronze bushings havebeen introduced, that as well protect againstany future clearances that could appear withuse.

ARMARIO ESTANCO DE CONTROL YMANIOBRA

El armario queda anclado en el soporte demástil y alberga y protege en su interior lacentral automática de control del mástil,el cuadro de maniobra y la manguera deconexión grupo-torre. Este armario demaniobra y control se puede cerrar con llaveo bloquear manualmente mediante doscerraduras, su grado de protección es IP66.

CENTRAL DE CONTROL APOLO 9000 1.0

Controla el mástil mediante simples pulsadoresy realiza una protección total al permitirúnicamente movimientos seguros. La centralestá basada en un circuito electrónicogobernado por un potente microprocesador,capaz de realizar automáticamente accionescomo el ascenso y descenso del mástil y giroe inclinación automática de los focos con lahorizontal del suelo y aplicar correccionessobre movimientos no permitidos.(para másdetalle ver ficha adjunta).

APOLO 9000 1.0 CONTROL UNIT

It allows the control of the mast through simplebuttons and only allows safe movements ofthe mast that is total protection. The unit hasvery powerful microprocessor that controls anelectronic circuit, capable of carrying outautomatically actions such as raising anddescending the telescopic mast and rotatingand inclining the spotlights with the horizontallevel of the ground and as well, makingcorrections on not allowed movements.(formore details seeing leaflet attached).

KIT MÓVIL

Compuesto de eje rígido, lanza articulada (6a),enganche tipo anilla (6b), abatimiento de ruedajockey (6c) para desplazamiento al interior deobras y guardabarros redondeados. Ademásincluye 4 mozos extensibles con husillo (6d)para su perfecta nivelación en superficiesirregulares, estos mozos están protegidos pornylon en su deslizamiento y extensión.

Para la elevación y transporte de la torre seincorpora en el chasis 4 anillas de carga (6e)perfectamente señalizadas (recomendamos lacarga con 4 bragas de 2,5 metros cada una).OPCIONALMENTE: se pueden suministrarluminosos de señalización y kit móvil paracirculación a alta velocidad.

TRAILER KIT

Comprising a rigid shaft, articulated nozzle(6a), lifting eye (6b), rounded mudguards anda hiding jockey wheel (6c) to allow its carryinginto working areas. The trailer also incorporatesfour extensible legs (6d) for a perfect levellingwhen situated on irregular surfaces, theselegs are protected with nylon in its slide andextension.

For lifting and transportation purposes the trailerhas on its bodywork 4 lifting eyes (6e) (werecommend lifting it with four belts of 2.5 metreslong each) On request, there is a high speedversion including signalling lights and brakesaccording to European traffic regulations.

De 3 expansiones en aluminio extrusiona-do T6 y anodizado con una capa de 15micras. El sistema de expansión estáprotegido por rascadores que confieren totalestanqueidad frente a agentes externos comopolvo, agua, etc.

Alcanza automáticamente una altura total detrabajo de 9,4 m y 355º de rotación en cabezade mástil, lo que permite un campo deiluminación de focos de 360º y unainclinación automática de focos de + 45ºsobre la horizontal del suelo.

A TELESCOPIC MAST

With 3 expansions made in extrudedaluminum T6 and anodized with a 15microns layer. The expansion system isprotected by scrapers that make it fullywaterproof against any external agent suchas water, dust, etc.

This unit has 9 command buttons. 8 maneuvering buttons divided into 4 groups (2 buttons pergroup) and one extra button for aligning the spotlights, besides 2 indicating leds, that make easyand clear to operate the Tower Apolo 9000.

Protection, Operating and Control Unit for

Apolo 9000 lighting tower.

Himoinsa has designed the APOLO 9000 Control Unit in order to easily control all theoperations of the Apolo 9000 lighting tower mast, guaranteeing a total protection as it onlyallows safe movements.

The Unit is based on an electronic circuit governed by a powerful microprocessor that iscapable of carrying out operations such as automatically elevating and bringing down themast and rotating and inclining the spotlights with the horizontal level of the ground andas well, making corrections on not allowed movements.

DESCRIPTION:

BUTTONS:

Each of these buttons functions is clearly explained in the drawing on the front of the centralunit.

Buttons Functions:

• 2 Green buttons: Control the inclination of the lightning tower mast. With these two buttonsthe mast will increase or decrease its inclination level with the horizontal, from 0º (horizontalposition) to 90º (vertical position).(A)

• 2 Orange buttons: they control the length of the mast, raising and bringing it down from itsstarting position up to 9.4 meters.(B)

• 2 Violet buttons: they make head of the mast rotate from left to right or from right to left. Thecentral unit allows a rotation of the lights from 0º (initial position) to 355º. This movement iscontrolled by the central unit to avoid dangerous rotations of more than 360º.(C)

• 2 Blue buttons: they allow you to incline the spotlights. These set of buttons adjusts theillumination allowing you to focus the beam of light with an operational margin controlled, tothe ground or ceiling.(D)

• 1 Automatic alignment button: this button sets automatically the Apolo 9000 lights to itsfolding position. This position is necessary for a right folding in order to not hit the spotlightsduring the folding of the mast.

LEDS:

Green Led: this led has two functions:

A. It shows that the spotlight are in the right position to bring down the mast.

B. It lets you know that the inclination is over 45º, which allows a safe execution of all themovements of the tower.

Red Led: this indicator will flicker whenever a non permitted movement is being commandeddue to the safety risks that it may cause. I.E.: a rotation of the spotlights over 355º.

SAFE MOVEMENTS:

The control unit of the Apolo 9000 lighting tower ensures that no movement will imply any sortof risk for the tower itself, when a non authorized movement is detected, the central unit will notallow it and will indicate this with the red led.

The safe movements are based on the following rules:

• The Lighting Tower will be able to make all its range of movement, raising and lowering/ rotation,inclination of the spotlights, once it is over 45º with the horizontal level of the ground.

• The spotlights cannot rotate more than 355º.

• The inclination of the spotlights mustn’t exceed its working angle.

• In order to get the tower back to its folding position for transportation, the spotlights must beproperly aligned.

All movements are supervised by the control central unit, if these do not fulfil the previous rulesthey will either be corrected automatically or they wont be carried out and at the same time thered led will indicate it.

De accionamiento mecánico con tres tramos que, izados en su totalidad,alcanzan los 5,5 m de altura. En el mástil primario es visible el tubode alojamiento y protección del cable espiral autoretráctil.

The MOBILE TOWER KIT is mainly composed by:

• TELESCOPIC MAST operated by manual mechanism, with 3different lengths, raising it to a total of 5,5 metres in height.

The HIMOINSA generating sets installed as standard in the Series3000, are gensets powered by HATZ encapsulated diesel engines,characterised by its solidity and low consumption. With a powerrange from 5 kVA at 1.500 r.p.m. up to 10 kVA at 3.000 r.p.m.,being available for either in single or three-phase voltage.

De aluminio compuesto de tres tramos que izado en sutotalidad alcanza una altura de 4,5m. Antes del bloqueodel último tramo, se puede girar el mástil manualmentehasta 360º para conseguir una buena orientación del hazde luz.

The APOLO 2000 series are basically composed by the followingelements:

ELEVATION KIT mainly composed by:

• TELESCOPIC MAST with manually-operated pneumatic pumpwhich reaches 4.6 meters of height and 360° of manual rotation.

• 2 LEVELLING SUPPORTS to guarantee the perfect stability ofthe tower in any surface.

• Halogenous lamps SUPPORTS.

• 4 HALOGENOUS PROJECTORS of 500-watts and 9.500 lumenseach one.

MOVIL GENERATING SET:

The HIMOINSA generating sets installed as standard in the Series2000, are very compact which guarantee its perfect mobility in anytype of surface. Powered by HATZ and HIMOINSA engines, witha power range from 5 kVA up to 7 kVA at 3.000 r.p.m., beingavailable for either in single or three phase voltage.
