level of congestion of nasal membranes.

General innervation to the nose is from the autonomicnervous system; the parasympathetic nerves supply theresting tone and control secretions.

Contributions of nerve supply are from thefacial nerve originating at

the inferior salivatory nucleus and following along thedistribution of the facial nerve through the sphenopalatineganglion .

Blood supply to the nose comes from branchesof the internal and e ternal carotid arterysystems. !erminal branches of the internalma illary artery supply most mucosalsurfaces of the nasal cavity .
