The presentation would highlight the current state of affairs vismanagement of the Ganges water resources among the different coIndia, Bangladesh and Nepal, with emphasis on the challenges that are being faced by the securing the food supply, protecting the econeeds to be followed by all the comanagement of the Ganges watliving in the Ganges basin area. Digital technology has revolutionized our social, political, professional, educational, cultural and even personal lives significantly. A country in today’s world can only develop by implementing digital technology in every sector and also by contributing towards development of future digital technology. English has been dominating in every branch of technology and it is being used as the principal language for digitworld have already adopted their own languages in the technology; while Bangla has been neglected though it is one of the most spoken languages in the world. A country like Bangladesh, where majority of tliteracy, cannot just rely on English for its development. Unfortunately there have not been any significant initiatives from the Government sector in developing Bangla for digital environment. Researchers and private entrepreneurs have been working in the area while there was no coordination. This lecture will present the role of Bangla in digital development of the country along with the issues and challenges involved in the process. It will review some of the initiatives taken in thirecommendations for efficient development of Bangla in digital technology for our future Bangladesh.
